  Weekend stay

  We love the Homes 2 Suites and stay in them in 6 different states. Usually this is a pleasant stay and like home. But this time we had a room that was had a bad smell - musty and like a dog that needed a bath. We left early and our clothes smell like the room. Rey bad experience. It also appears that they are closing down the suite side in favor of TRU. All the food, coffee, amenities are on that side. I know with COVID that it has been a struggle and we understand. But, it appears the cleaning has gone downhill. Probably wont stay here again.

  Good combination of two good options

  We stayed here on a road trip and were pleasantly surprised. We like Hiltons Home2 concept, with largish rooms including two workspaces, and a kitchenette with basic implements, a regular sized fridge and dishwasher. In this case, the Home2 is twinned with another innovative Hilton concept: Tru. This chain has large and lively lobbys which feel like a shared work space. As a guest of the Home2, we had access to the Tru lobby, and both hotels share a decent sized gym and guest laundry, another hallmark of Home2. Pity that many guests werent wearing masks. Signs should be more prominent to improve compliance. Hot water was tepid, but we assume thats a transitory maintenance problem not meriting a downgrade. Otherwise, our stay was satisfactory and as expected.

  COVID safe/clean

  Stayed two nights here for a family weekend. Clean rooms. Room cleaning available. Friendly, efficient staff. Nice amenities. Coffee always hot. Uses Lavassa coffee. Continent to hospital, restaurants, shopping and freeway.

  Not COVID 19 compliant and changes reservation

  This Home to Suites is connected to their Tru hotel. Only one elevator for both. I reserved and picked out my room on their website. I needed a one bedroom suite and it was confirmed. When I arrived the manager had changed my reservation to a one room suite. He should of let me known that ahead of time. Also, the lobby was filled with at least 50 - 70 mask less adults and teens. There was no attempt to social distance or wear masks. There was a huge party atmosphere. If it werent so late I would of left. Oh, they double charged my credit card too.

  Not pet friendly unless you pay as much as a human would cost to stay here

  The charges for a pet are cleverly hidden so it is almost impossible to find that you will get charged a minimum of $75 for the pet to stay. It seems like more a penalty charge than a pet friendly hotel. The only way I found out there was a $75 charge was by getting the bill sent to me several days later. That is extremely disappointing that the hotel would hide this charge.
