  Not so sanitized

  I am sorry to say out trip to Home 2 in Meridian, MS was not so tidy. To start out with our electronic key stopped working after the first use. I asked for and received a new key card but it did not work either. The hotel staff attempted to reprogram the lock several time with no success. It worked out for our short stay but only one of us could leave the room at a time. Next the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. The vanity had a lot of dust under the sign on the mirror explaining the extra efforts being made to ensure the room is sanitized. The shower had black looking substance (mold?) in the shower and the bathroom floor did not to have been cleaned for a while. Sadly, I think this might be the new normal for Hilton hotels.. On a positive side the deck clerk and maintenance person were very friendly...

  Not again

  As a regular business traveler Im picky, but the cleanliness of the room wasnt up to normal Hilton standards. I pray these are clean sheets. Empty toilet paper, someone was here cleaning but they didnt take the time to do a good job. Oh yeah a non working back entrance so a good walk around the building to get in and out. Also, the WiFi is nonexistent. You can connect fine but Im writing this on my cell because there is no bandwidth coming through the WiFi. Been that way for several hours.

  It Was As Bad As I Feared It Would Be

  Where to begin. Entered the lobby to find the front desk clerk sitting at one of the lobby tables maskless - not even hanging around her neck (came down later to find her still sitting at the table with a male friend who was also maskless). Our room... The bathroom- filthy ventilation fans, peeling wallpaper, white stains all over the wallpaper around toilet, rust in tub surround, hair on the shower head, mildewed tile grout on the floor, and a sink faucet that moved in all directions when you tried to turn it on. The kitchen- stand in the bathroom or sit on the stained couch and you will see a pile of trash swept under the counter/dishwasher - including a pair of socks! ugh! The freezer didnt even freeze some of our ice packs. The bedroom area- Stained carpet with yet more stains! Dirty chairs/couch. Trash under the bed. Why did we stay? It was late after a 12 hour drive and our dogs were allowed. Next time, Id sleep in my car first or try the Drury Inn. Time for responsibility across the board- starting from management down.

  My favorite place to stay

  The room layouts are fantastic. The staff are most helpful. The manager is absolutely great. I wish all the places Ive stayed were half as good as this. This is my number one choice in Meridian Mississippi and I will be looking for home2suites in every location I visit from now on.

  Nice cat friendly hotel

  Pet friendly hotel with great covid breakfast options (premade omelets and breakfast bagels with sausge, egg, and cheese among other items). Also conveniently located between an IHOP and Waffle House for other breakfast options. Room looked great, no issues. Would definitely stay here again. Location was a little annoying to get to and leave but only slightly.
