  Perfect and very clean hotel!

  I booked the hotel b/c of the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. The hotel is super clean which is very important for me and especially now with COVID-19. We booked two rooms and both were exceptional, very clean and specious. One of the rooms had separate bedroom from the living room area with a huge bathroom. This hotel deserves more than two stars. We stayed at many 4-4.5 stars hotels and were paying double price just to get filthy rooms with a big disappointment. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you book this hotel. We stayed there for two nights b/ of a tournament. One more great thing is that this hotel is on the exit of the highway 80/90. The only thing that was a little bit of concern was that many guests did not wear the face mask. I think the hotel employees have to remind everyone or put reminders everywhere for people who dont care until were done with this virus. We will definitely book this hotel again when were around.

  Nice room, marginal COVID safety

  If it werent for COVID, Id give 5 stars. Fantastic room, staff was friendly and room seemed clean. However, compared to the policies listed on the Hilton website they fell short. I was required to physically check in though Im a Hilton honors member and they have digital key. 1st room I was given had no seal on the door. When I returned to the desk, they happily gave me another room, but I had to ask the agent to put his mask back on. 2nd room was sealed and it was beautiful. Upon returning to my car to bring stuff in, I noticed another guest at the counter speaking with the agent, neither wearing a mask. Cmon Hilton / Maumee!!! In the morning, lots of guests milling about the buffet breakfast (really?!?!) though most were wearing masks. Also had to let the agent know their hand sanitizer by the door was empty.... If youre concerned about your health and want to be super vigilant, you can still enjoy a nice stay here, but know that youll be surrounded by travelers and staff that may not share your concerns. Maybe its just an Ohio thing...

  The perfect stay during an imperfect time

  My wife & I stayed here at the end of August. We were both concerned about the cleanliness protocols, since it was the first time we were traveling anywhere since the pandemic began. We were both very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, especially the common areas. I did see them cleaning & sanitizing the elevators a few times each day, which really put my mind at ease. Our first room had a connecting door & we could already hear the kids screaming next door, so we politely asked for one without a connecting door. No big deal & they accommodated immediately. Both rooms were cleaned thoroughly & the layout is very sleek/modern, with no wasted space. I do love that fact that there's a full-sized fridge & kitchen in each room. Unlike other reviews, I did not see anyone going against the mask mandate. I look forward to another stay at this hotel in the future.

  Well Run, COVID Conscious

  Kudos to this hotel, where I stayed twice over the last week, for taking its approach to COVID safety seriously. The made me feel safe. They are located right off the Ohio turnpike in an area with many restaurants (all doing take-out) and other amenities. Rooms are sealed upon cleaning and were truly clean. Masks are required and guests respected the protocol. I was able to select my own room (avoiding need for an elevator) and use the digital key feature (thanks to the Hilton app). Front desk staff interaction was not needed, but they are nice folks and working hard to please guests and keep them safe. Adjustments to the breakfast still provide choice and adequate nutrition, but no unnecessary handling. Gloves were provided if guests wished to use them. The rooms appear quite new and are in great shape. The Home2 Suites concept provides a spacious room with a small in-room kitchen area. The hotel does abut a truck freight yard and there is a small amount of noise late at night/early morning associated with it. Didnt bother me at all, but be aware if you are noise sensitive. I think that by selecting a room on the even numbers side you can avoid this small issue. Very good property and really appreciate their efforts re health and safety!

  It's clean, it's quiet, and it's right off the highway. The highlight is the staff. All employees seemed to go out of their way to be helpful, friendly, etc. The night desk person made sure my pup and I ended up in a less-occupied corner of the hotel, and the morning desk person gave me some info on traffic for where I was headed since it had recently snowed. Nice people is really all it takes for me!
