    No effort

We have stayed in Home2Suites in other towns (before Covid-19) and liked them. the room here was nice and the person checking us in was super. Next morning things went down hill. They offer breakfast during normal times but I truly believe they are taking advantage of the current situation. "Breakfast" consisted of a granola bar and an overripe banana in a "grab-bag", plus self serve coffee and juice. NO EFFORT AT ALL. Their attitude seemed to be 'take it or leave it - doesn't bother us'.

    Would not recommend

As a frequent traveler, I often stay at a Hilton property. Typically, Home\2 Suites are a great find. This was not the case for this hotel! The shampoo dispenser in our room was empty. We told the front desk and they said they would bring us more. They brought us for bottles of conditioner. When we reminded them we needed shampoo, not conditioner, they said they would look in their stock. Thirty minutes later, they brought us body oil and said that was all they had! When using the hair dryer, there was hair in the drawer with the hair dryer. It sure makes me wonder what else was not clean! For breakfast, they had brown bags with a banana and granola bar- that's all! Not even water. You could get a yogurt and fruit juice to add to the bag. Interestingly, the next night we were at a Hampton and they had individual breakfast pizzas, small bags of carrots, etc.... This Hilton property simply does not live up to a Hilton property. The only reason, I gave it a one, was because I couldn't give it a zero!

An excellent shelter in a time of crisis

We live in Estes Park, CO and were required to evacuate due to a wildfire emergency. Since we know the nearby town of Longmont, we headed there. My wife called to make a reservation, having been told this hotel is pet friendly (we have a cat and a bird). To the point: we were given a special rate as evacuees and a suite was reserved for us. The check-in process was seamless and the access doors are convenient. The suite was perfect. There is a lot of storage and available surface area, of which one area was perfect for the large bird cage. We had two comfortable beds, and also an area with a couch and a table that can be used for a desk or for dining. The refrigerator is full-size, and the kitchenette was equipped with tableware, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher. All we needed but food was supplied. The bathroom had all we required. The lobby, or commons area, is roomy and well-lit. Excellent complimentary coffee is available at all hours. This hotel has a pool and a small gym as well as a laundry area. The staff was friendly and professional and every reasonable thing we asked for was supplied, as we stayed seven nights. The only loud noise we noticed was the barking of dogs, as the hotel completely filled up with people who also evacuated. Checkout was smooth. This hotel was perfect for our needs, and we would stay there again - especially if we are evacuated again. May that not be the experience of anyone reading this!

Horrible service. Dirty. Rude staff Don't stay here

I travel extensively. I would give this place a zero if I could. My check-in was the worst experience I have encountered. Gladys checked me in and is probably the rudest person I have ever met. My room was dirty-there were hairs on the bathroom floor and smelled like dirty mop. The hotel is very noisy not just in the hallways, but you can hear through the walls.

Don't stay here if you need to sleep. Walls are paper thin, and people are constantly in and out of the their rooms, letting the doors slam shut. Asked to be moved to a different room last night, but told they were full. Tonight is my last night and I clearly will not be getting any rest as the front desk is not addressing the issue, even when I told them it would be my 3rd night of poor sleep, thanks to the new guy next to be who yells when he talks. Absolutely horrible that people are allowed to behave this way. Will NEVER stay in one of these again.
