  Not Hilton Honors Friendly!

  As a 15 year Hilton Honors Silver member, I am used to being treated better at all other properties... If it weren't a brand new hotel, I'd stay somewhere else. Great breakfast & location but digital key NEVER works and forget about getting your Silver Member perks!.

  What happened!

  We have stayed ay this hotel since it was opened. The rooms are great and fit our familys needs. Last weekend we booked a room for two nights. The room was up to our expectations and the staff friendly. The hotel was taken over by indigents, taking broken motorcycles on the elevator, luggage in shopping carts, smoking, dogs constantly barking, garbage in the hallways. Then our hot breakfast 400 ways was a bagel in a bag. WHAT HAPPENED??? Will not stay here again. Hilton, Im disappointed.

  Great decorating and modern look

  The property and rooms look really great, very clean, modern lines and fun colors. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the open shelving is practical and minimalist. I would rank it higher but for a few things: the pocket door to the bathroom design is ingenious but it's very heavy and almost impossible to close; the suite does not have a wall and a door separating the bedroom, just a curtain; the staff was clustered together cleaning the rooms and talking to each other without wearing masks.

  Great Location, Spacious Room

  My friend and I needed a COVID-safe change of scenery and decided to visit Leavenworth where his parents were buried in the nearby military cemetery. The Home2Suites was a great setup for two people; there was a large, opaque curtain that could be pulled out between the sleeping area and the rest of the room, which came in handy when I woke up earlier than he did. There was a full kitchen other than hot plates , which were available in request. The kitchen did have a microwave. Gym was large and well-equipped. I didn't check out the pool. Breakfast area was spacious and pleasant. Given COVID the offerings had been pared down- bagged breakfasts with contents labeled, 2 kinds of yogurt in individual containers, waffles, 3 kinds of cereals and items to microwave. Coffee and tea available as well. The hotel is in the middle of downtown with free parking. We enjoyed dinner at Tampico, which I've reviewed separately, right across the street. We'll probably be doing more road trips such as this; since the pandemic I've spent 7 nights at 5 Hilton properties and have felt safe with the precautions they're taking. A change of scenery is good!

  Winter Weather

  Got my parents a hotel room in Leavenworth due to the winter weather on Tuesday Feb 9 and the next day Wednesday feb 10 they had there Covid Vaccine at the Riverfront Community center. The staff was very friendly and let us extended our checkout until Noon. The hotel room was spacious and breakfast was excellent.
