  Great Stay

  This was a great place to host our Dance Team for State. Only issue was the clerk working the front desk that was giving us some poor attitude. Other than that, the stay was great and we all really enjoyed breakfast.

  Great Staff, Mattresses, Kitchenette w/full sized fridge and utensils, not cramped.

  I have only stayed in a 5 star once. On the company dime in Seoul, South Korea. But this stay was out of my own pocket and the only difference i noticed was the hotel restaurant was an apple bees instead of my paying $30 dollar for a hamburger, no concierge, and i wasn't greeted by name when i entered the hotel lobby every time. (i said to myself, oh, this is why they are 5 star, and it did feel wonderful cuz i was missing home) But Emily and the 5 am guy was great, so was the 9 am gal when i asked for a mask. But what made me write this review was because i wasn't feeling well and only had to drive 5 hours to a hampton inn in Mount Vernon, IL. So when i called emily to ask if i could get a late checkout. she said, no problem i will put you down for 2pm." wait what, ok, i am writing a review.

  Breakfast was a joke

  The room was clean and there is a kitchenette. I brought my Instapot with me from home and was able to use it here to make dinner to avoid eating at a restaurant. The room size is decent, we did not feel cramped. But I gave 3 stars because of the quality of the breakfast. We each got a brown paper bag with a granola bar, banana, apple, and a bottle of water. That's not breakfast, it's a snack. Now I realize there is covid everywhere. However, we stayed at 3 other Hiltons in 3 other states and each one of them still had a better breakfast than this one.

  Booking issue

  The rooms were great but the booking issues that I had to deal with were not worth it. Spent 30 minutes at check in because we were quoted a group rate. Finally the lady told me she had it fixed. Got my bill in my email the next day only to realize it was more than double the quoted amount. Then tried to called the hotel for over an hour with no answer so I called the 800 number and spent 40 minutes on the phone with them only to have a case number and still waiting to see if the price is adjusted or not. I have always enjoyed staying at Hiltons but this experience was extremely negative.

  Great hotel near I-70 in Kansas City

  Definitely the Home2 Suites by Hilton is a awesome hotel line in USA! Modern decoration with perfect installation like a home with complete kitchen, comfortable beds and great shower! This specific Home2 hotel is located near I-70 with ease access to highway!
