  Clean Comfortable When That is All You Need

  I try to stay in Hilton properties so when I was going to stay a short time in Gillette I booked the Home 2 Suites. Hotel was clean, new, well maintained. Rooms have everything you need for a short stay or for some who want to stay longer in a reasonably priced hotel. Each room has a small kitchen.

  Comfortable hotel

  Out here for two weeks and this hotel is perfect. Clean safe and comfortable. Pool, fitness center and guest laundry. Great breakfast area with coffee all day. Rooms have large refrigerator and microwave with dishwasher and plates and flatware. Comfortable beds and large bathroom. Staff was great. Plenty of parking and close to restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again.

  3rd stay, not a charm.

  Our first stay here, for work, we were very pleased with the amenities and how well the room accommodated our need to office out of our room. However, we were given a accessible room and requested another room and we were told that all rooms were accessible (not true). Our second stay, we ran the dishwasher when we went to sleep and woke up to a puddle of water on the floor. The disposal also wasn't working. We were not offered any type of discount for staying in a room that was not functioning. After this stay, my husband said that he did not want to stay here again. Our third stay, has confirmed that we will not be returning to this property. The hotel is run down...and is in desperate need of an overhaul and a massive, deep clean. The walls are dirty, the doors to the room and in the room are filthy, the exterior surfaces (table and chair legs) need to be wiped down and sanitized. Every visit, other than the first, we have had to unload the dishwasher that doesn't really clean the dishes that we needed to put away. This stay, dishes are missing, silverware needs to be replaced, kitchen drawers and cabinet exteriors need to be scrubbed thoroughly. The hallways (carpeting and walls), and stairwells (floors and walls) need to be deep cleaned, washed, repainted. The bathrooms need to be thoroughly cleaned...walls, doors, floors, floor boards, trim, door jams. It's dingy and visibly very dirty. I'm not even going to perform an inspection of the bed. Needless to say, this property is deteriorating in cleanliness and quality. Whether you have the staff or not, no excuses for putting guests into these types of poor and unclean conditions. I would really make it an emergency situation to get this property back into order and hire a crew to deep clean the entire property. Outside and inside...repaint, freshen it up! It needs it desperately. There are cigarette butts and dog poop all over outside of the property near the entrances. The windows and doors in the rooms and in the common spaces are filthy. The hallways also don't seem to be heated...very cold and unpleasant. Lastly, a very minimal offering of towels in the bathroom. The shower floor is stained and nasty. I would suggest that management take this very seriously. No excuses.

  Heavily worn-

  The staff is attentive and happy to see business office and other amenities are available. Room had heavily worn furniture. Bath towels were very thin and the lower hems were completed frayed. While clean, the room needs a close inspection, heavy greasy hand prints by the window where people must lean over the HVAC to look out. The folding closet doors and room divider were just weird. The bathroom door was heavily worn and multiple repairs were visible.

  Not a Single Issue

  This is a beautiful little hotel that is close to all of the restaurants and shopping on the south side of I-90. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is consistently over-the-top friendly. The rooms was clean and the room temperature was comfortable, even though we were there during a very cold spell. The included breakfast was better than we expected, and there was lots of room to spread out. The room was well designed, and I'd imagine the full kitchen would be nice for longer stays (we didn't really get much use from it.) I'd definitely stay here again if I was back in Gillette.
