Stay on 4th floor or don't stay at allGood service, good staff, rooms are clean, but noise from floor above you is very annoying. Normal walking or chairs rolling in room above you is easily and frequently heard. Normal hallway noise also makes it into you room easily. Not a typical Hilton property unfortunately.

Love Home2 concept.I love the layout of the rooms. The kitchenettes are perfect right down to the stylish dishes. Home2Suites is my first choice since I travel with dogs most of the time. While this particular hotel was not brand new like some Ive stayed in, it was perfectly clean and CoVid cleaning policies in place. There was one maintenance issue I meant to bring to their attention (if youre listening Home2). But it was not a big deal. One thing I was very impressed with is the soundproofing between rooms. As we walked to our room there was a dog barking excessively as if it had been left alone by the owners. And our next door neighbors were playing music loudly. Despite what we could hear in the hall, the room was perfectly quiet. My only disappointment was that my request for first floor room couldnt be fulfilled. Stay at Home2Suites. You wont be sorry.

A nightmareWhat an incredibly terrible experience, especially during a time of anxiety because of Covid. Our family and another family both had a reservation for two nights. My friend called ahead of time to ask for our rooms to be near each other. They said no problem. While on the beach, the day of check in, she also called to verify that everything was all set. She was told we had two rooms on the second floor and gave her room numbers. When we arrived an hour and a half later, we were told it would be a two hour wait for our room. When I mentioned our friend had called the clerk said, "I am going to have to turn away 7 people this evening". I won't even get into the name I was called by another hotel guest who was not wearing a mask. The clerk did work out arrangements for us to be moved to the Best Western across the parking lot, but that manager came over, also without a mask on. The while situation was handled very poorly. I do not recommend either hotel.

Find a better place to stayI realize that the COVID-19 pandemic has forced hotels to change their operations to stay solvent while attracting customers. My check-in process took over 25 minutes. I was the only person at the counter and asked for a top floor room. The clerk went to the elevators, said he needed to check the rooms. He came back a few minutes later, wrote down 5 room numbers on paper and left again. He came back 10 minutes later with an arm load of bed linens, said he had an emergency and proceeded to give me my room card. I find it amazing that he did not know which rooms were ready for that day. The 'free' internet is the slowest I've ever used among any major hotel chain. The bed sheets/pillowcases were so wrinkled I wondered if they were actually changed after the last guest. Has the pandemic made Hilton cut laundry costs by washing the sheets but not ironing them? Perception is not always reality but I think the wrinkled sheets gave a very negative impression of the Hilton chain. Consider locating families with children on the same floor so they can entertain each other by running up/down the hall using it a playground. A family with 3 kids was placed across from us and the kids ran and screamed up and down the hall for over 30 minutes. Just what I want to hear. You can do better than this chain in Erie.

Worse Hotel stay in years!Upon arrival we had to wait for over 40 minutes & we were the only ones waiting to check in. The person checking us in left the front desk while checking us in & then was gone for almost 20 minutes with no explanation. Once in our room I went to get a glass but couldn't find one. I finally looked in the dishwasher & there were all the dishes (DIRTY). One of the reasons we chose this hotel (besides being a Hilton Honors Member), was that breakfast was included. Well, our first morning there my wife went down early, about 20 minutes after the posted serving time. She couldn't locate any food being served, one of their other choices was supposed to be a boxed food, ready to go. When she asked a staff member she was told they were out of boxes/containers, this was the case both mornings of our 2 day stay. As a Honors member we were also to receive free WiFi, I wasn't able to connect for almost 2 hours. I even called and asked the front desk. I was told I needed to wait for their system to reboot. The ONLY good thing I can say about our stay was that the room was pretty nice, large screen TV, full kitchen (all the appliances worked). ps - I almost forgot to add that not one single hand sanitizer machine worked, every one (entrance, lobby, by the elevators, etc.) was empty during our entire stay. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE anytime but especially not during the current pandemic.
