    Buena calidad/precio

    Great Staff

The room was clean, the Front Desk Staff were very helpful. Amanda the Desk Clerk & Chris the Night Auditor, thank you. I accidentally made 2 reservations and Amanda assisted me when I called the hotel in cancelling the extra one. Chris was very pleasant and accommodating when we arrived after a 13 hour drive from Arkansas. We would stay again if ever in town, although we came for a funeral. Thank you to the Manager you have great staff.

How Do I Love This Hotel? Let Me Count The Ways

I have continued to extend my stay in this hotel rather than return to snowy, cold NYC. If I could actually rent this hotel room seasonally I'd do so. How Do I Love this hotel.... Let me count the ways: PROS: I checked in late on a weeknight and Adam at the front desk was wonderfully pleasant after a long drive. I asked if he had an upgrade for a Hilton Gold member(I had just moved up from Silver and was anxious to take full advantage of my snazzy new benefits!) Adam checked carefully, but alas, there was no upgrade available. But no matter. My regular suite was dandy! Full refrigerator, GE dishwasher, GE Microwave (a fantastic, quality microwave -- not the dinky ones that come in most hotels that say "yes, we have a microwave in the room". A sink, utensils, plates, cups, glasses, dishes, colander, dishcloths, sponges, and bunches of other stuff that I can't even name. Bright room with great sunlight--- which is super important. Electrical outlets all over the place along with USB ports-- which is super-super important. The shades are true darkening shades that prevent any bit of light from entering the room -- also important. (No more taking hotel hangars with those two clips to block out the light by clipping curtains and drapes together). Large LG TV with wonderful picture. Plugged in my Firestick with no problem. Super comfy bed with really nice sheets and bedding. The top quilt is a nice crisp white with crimson red trim (which not only happens to be my sorority colors, but it assures me that dirt/dust has nowhere to hide on the bedding) Now I've been doing a bit of solo traveling during COVID and have been veeeeerrrry particular about hotels -- a couple of places, people have not taken mask-wearing seriously or the place was not cleaned well. No problem here. Everybody wears masks and the room was clean and you could tell it was sanitized. Everything smelled fresh and clean.. (Did I mention that the elevators have carpeting?? Clean carpeting.  In the elevators -- that has GOT to be hard to maintain! But somehow they do it and even the elevators smell clean. Bathroom shower pressure is divine with a few spray patterns. THAT was the regular King Suite... When I decided to extend my stay, I asked if there was an upgrade and this is how I know God loves me.  I moved down the hall to a 1 bedroom that I. Don't. Ever. Want. To. Leave. Now I mentioned Adam who checked me in on my first night. But did I mention Jenelle, the Guest Services Manager? What about Bill, the resident handyman? Linda, the General Manager, Keisha, Housekeeping Supervisor and last but not least the Amazing Amanda! Housekeeping had left and Jenelle came up and cleaned my room as if that was her regular job. I told her that I could wait until the next day for housekeeping but she insisted -- and smiled...and it seemed like an authentic smile and pleasant attitude -- (I'm a native New Yorker. I know fake smiles! Jenelle was the real deal) I sat by the pool one day (yes, in December-- it was a balmy 61 degrees) and saw a lady walking around arranging chairs and turning seats over in preparation for the coming rain. I looked closely and said, "Wait. That looks like.... the General Manager!" Sure enough, Linda who oversees the entire hotel, was out of her office making sure the outside area was taken care of. (I've also known her to walk the floors as well, checking everything out.) How many managers are outdoors turning up chairs?? And she always has time to say a kind word to guests. But what can I say about Amazing Amanda. She puts up with me when I ask for extra bagels and butter. She remembered on the second day that I like Orange Spice herbal tea. She says things like "No, you're no bother Ms. Jenkins!" after I apologize because I think that I really have been a bother (especially when I go back for yet another bagel).  By the way, they have a wonderful "COVID-era" box breakfast with two boiled eggs, yogurt, juice, bagels:-), juice, tea, coffee, apple cinnamon oatmeal, different cereals and fresh fruit. The place is pet-friendly which is great for pet-lovers. There's a small patch of space to walk your dog or you can take him/her down the road. The hotel has 2 doggie bag receptacles on the premises. Did I mention the wifi service? My room is at the end of the hotel, which usually means that the signal is sort of weak. Not the case. The regular wifi is almost as strong as the premium, allowing me to conduct virtual classes, seminars, etc. Now for the CONS: Apparently, I can NOT rent this room seasonally.  (Booo!!!! )

    Hotel

This was our first visit to this area. This hotel is pet friendly. Excellent location. Rooms and service was very good. Rooms were clan. They did offer breakfast but it was limited related to the pandemic. They had a mask requirement.
