    Great place

    This is a nice facility with great accommodations. I enjoy having what I need in the kitchen area and having space. The rooms have full refrigerators and that is wonderful to keep drinks and snacks cold.

    Excellent Location

    The hotel is short 7-minute ride from the airport. The University is very close at just over a mile away. The hotel has many food options within a short walk and even a Harvest Market Grocery store that serves hot food as well as a full grocery store. The hotel staff was kind and got us our rooms quickly. The rooms were clean and large. The full galley kitchen was nice for heating up foods. It has a full size dishwasher and microwave. They have skillets in the lobby if you prefer to cook something more in-depth. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were kind of flat. Be sure to ask for more upon checking into your room. The room also had a pullout couch and privacy curtain. The WiFi was fast but requires a password. The hotel has many amenities to include an indoor pool, fitness room, outdoor grills, and a breakfast bar. The fitness room has cardio machines and a cable machine. The grills were the only thing open during my stay due to COVID-19. The restaurants nearby were allowing seating both inside and outside during my stay

    Super Friendly, Not Super Clean

    We stay at Home2Suites fairly often, as the large suite-style rooms and decent prices are perfect for our family of 5. We specifically chose this hotel over the others in the area because we've never had anything but great stays; unfortunately, this particular stop was a bit of an exception. We stayed twice. The first time was fine; we liked the location, the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful, and although the room wasn't quite as immaculate as expected (toenail clipping under the A/C....who clips their nails and just lets 'em fly in a hotel????), we were generally satisfied with our stay. So we stayed again.... Again, the staff was GREAT. But our first room was gross....smears of questionable substances on the walls/doors, hair and dust everywhere, filthy microwave, and even the hallway looked as if the room had been swept out and the refuse left directly in front of the door. We asked the front desk to send someone to clean, and they (again, SUPER friendly) offered to move us to another room, no questions or fuss....but I think we may have been in the exact same room as our first stay, because again, there was a toenail clipping. Either that or there's a serial clipper running around. I won't tell anyone NOT to stay here, because again the location is great, the price is not bad, and all the staff we encountered deserve 5 stars. However, there are definitely issues with cleanliness, and that keeps this particular hotel from providing the great experience we've come to expect from the chain. I hope they fix the issues in the future because it could really be a great place to stay with just a little more attention.

    Teach Your Staff to Wear Masks!

    My husband is a high-risk individual, so we planned our driving trip carefully to be safe. We got takeout for all our meals and ate them in the car or in our hotel room. We visited my mother and spent all of our time together outdoors, for safety. We chose Hilton properties because we liked the cleaning protocol. When we got to this hotel, we found it clean and staff were following protocol. Everybody did their part - except the front desk staff member and cleaning person on duty at night. Both failed to wear their masks properly. They had them on, but on their chins or under their noses. The cleaner was finishing up mopping the elevator - just before I was to get on it - without his mask. Rather than enter a small contained space that someone had just breathed in, I opted to climb three floors by stairs. Sorry if you think wearing masks is too hard, or think Covid is a hoax, or whatever. I'll just stay home next time.

    Superior Service from Andrew

    Ive stayed here twice in 2020. Both times the hotel has been very clean and weve gotten checked in with five minutes or less. Andrew provided superior service during both stays and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, including making a new reservation for us when I booked through a third-party for the wrong night. His kindness and attention to detail along with the cleanliness of the hotel will keep me coming back here anytime Im in CU.
