Baseball tournamentVery big spacious rooms. The only complaint is the bathroom smelled horrible even though it looked clean. Hot breakfast was a bonus and very close to shopping and restaurants and 15 mins from lake point baseball fields

Housekeeping staff won't wear masksWe stayed there while my parents were in the hospital, so masks are a great concern to us. After two days of watching the housekeeping staff not wear masks we were upset. Brought our concerns to the GM, who felt we were being disrespectful by being upset. This HUGE man followed me to the elevator (I'm 5 ft tall) got very close to me and told me "this isn't over". NEVER stay there! Not safe, and no intention of following COVID guidelines!

Nicely appointed rooms, but shoddy furnitureReally dissapointed by the couch and desk chair in the room. They both looked like they had seen better days. The desk chair is incredibly stained. The lobby is very nice and the front desk person was great and very helpful. Too bad they didnt enforce the wearing of masks in the hotel.

DisappointedMade a reservation several weeks ago. When my wife went to check in barely a few minutes after the posted check in time she was told that the 2 queen suite we reserved had been given away because they were oversold. How does this happen? Poor scheduling/management, thats how. I usually prefer Hilton brands, and my travel schedule has several other Hilton brands reserved for future travel, so this is very disappointing. They got a regular King room which was not what was desired and was deemed average at best. The walls were so thin they could hear people snoring on both sides of the room all night. This is the suburbs of Atlanta and there are probably 25 hotels within a 10 mile radius. Based on this experience we will choose another one the next time we are in the area for an event at Lake Point Events Center.

Disappointing stayDuring our few road trips this past year, we have stayed in Hilton properties because we have found their Covid safety measures to be superior. Not at this hotel! We stayed one night there this past week in route from Florida to Missouri and wish we had not. First off, the check-in was a mess. We stood around waiting for someone to check us in. Finally, a maskless woman turned up and she was clueless. After standing around waiting for 10-15 minutes, we finally received our keys only to find out that we were not in the same level (King suite) room that we had booked days prior. When we inquired about the room assignment, we were told that they didn't have any of those rooms available because of a "sporting event". The rate was reduced by $28 but all of that should have been made clear at check-in. The room was clean but shoddy, and we had a flickering recess light that was supposed to be addressed, but no one from maintenance ever showed up to fix it. The bed was comfortable, and there is a decent breakfast selection, but we skipped it all and left early in the morning. Should I ever be in Cartersville, GA again, I would stay elsewhere.
