    Nice Hotel

We were greeted warmly by the young woman at the front desk upon arrival. We have stayed at other Home2 hotels and they have all been very good. During this pandemic, it was important for us (we are in our 70s) to stay in a clean place. We were heading North after spending the Winter in Fl. I did my homework and specifically chose this hotel because of the reviews that remarked about how clean it was. And it was. Our suite included a full kitchen with a microwave (no stove). It was great. We brought our own food for dinner which made it easy to prepare and they had plates and utensils so we did not to supply those items. The room was spacious and had a couch which gave us a comfortable place to sit in the evening. The beds were comfortable as well providing us with a good nights sleep, The bathroom had a generous sized shower. They supplied soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. In the morning, they had ready prepared bags as a substitute for their usual buffet breakfast. The staff members were all very friendly and gracious. As I checked out, one of them apologized about the breakfast not being like what the usually serve. I commented that we had stayed in the Home2 hotels before and enjoyed their breakfasts, but we appreciated the effort made because of the circumstances. We would definitely stay in this wonderful hotel again. I would have given it a top rating, but did not because 3 out of the 4 staff members were not wearing masks. Additionally, we were disappointed by the lack of snacks available for purchase. That area was severely depleted. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel!

    Great location and staff

This hotel is convenient in location to The Burn Center. Recently a family member was transported from Cairo, Ga and we had to find a place to stay for a week or more. I called the hotel and spoke to the Assistant Manager, Megan. She assured me that her staff would welcome my sister and her daughter in the wee hours (2AM). Just like she promised her night team checked them in and got them settled into a suite. She was right, it takes minutes to get to the hospital. The luxury of having a kitchen and laundry room was invaluable to my family. Needless to say, they grabbed some clothes and got on the road not realizing they would be there for a week. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. They serve breakfast daily however it has limits due to Co-vid. Once again Hilton has been there for us. Thank you.

    Traveling during Covid-19

I decided to stay at this hotel for an extended weekend to attend my brother's wedding in Georgia. I specifically wanted to book this hotel because the Hilton brand has a partnership with Lysol and obviously cleanliness is very important during this peculiar time. Check in went smoothly for me, when I arrived in my room- it was clean and looked satisfactory. The beds were comfortable, clean linen, spacious, and not to mention the wonderful customer service. The pool area outside was closed, but not the deck/patio just the pool itself, and the breakfast was "to go" and served in paper bags. Although all the amenities were not available, the price of the hotel stay was not adjusted, which was slightly disappointing. I discovered that the other Home 2 suites hotel in grovetown were offering ALL of their amenities despite the pandemic. I was going to change my reservation, but ultimately decided against it, I was already settled and the location of this hotel was amazing. I didn't rent a car for the weekend and was still able to walk to the local shopping center (10 minute walk) They have a target, Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle, Cold Stone and shops galore, very convenient. I would recommend this hotel to others, the wifi isn't strong, but the customer service is!

Received Hotel Key to room NonID required

I left my key in my car, So I just decided to get one at the front desk. The employee didnt ask me for any I.D, which is scary because I could have just been anybody. I provided my room number, received a key, and thats it. Do you know how dangerous that can be? Other than that I had no problem staying here.

Excellent Room even with Management Fail

Located on a quiet street, Home2Suites was close to several restaurants and shopping areas. The hotel was clean and the outdoor area was well kept There were two pet walking areas that were well lit and stocked with clean-up bags. The breakfast buffet consisted of the usual milk, juice, yogurt and fruit, as well as, oatmeal, Jimmy Dean Sausage & Egg Bagels, a scrambled egg & cheese dish and grab & go bags. Felicia was a cheerful helper each morning. The one bedroom, handicapped accessible room was one of the best ever. You entered the oversized room into a streamlined kitchen with lower counters and the dishes stored in drawers instead of upper cabinets. There was no coffee table in the way of the sleeper sofa. Unlike other rooms where weve stayed, the bedroom door was not blocked when the sleeper sofa was used. No detail had been overlooked Another helpful detail was the oversized bathroom which was accessible from either the bedroom or the living area. A negative to the bathroom was the extremely low flow shower head which made showering take twice as long. The one big disappointment was that the reservation was made for the one bedroom, handicap accessible room with roll-in shower. When we arrived to that room it was missing the sleeper sofa, which we needed. The desk clerk said he couldnt bring us a sofa because 1) he couldnt lift it, 2) maintenance wouldnt be in until the following morning and 3) it would make too much noise to move it. He assigned us into another room that was supposed to be the exact same, but it wasnt. It had a tub and shower bench instead of a roll-in shower. That makes a huge difference if you are handicapped. The clerk stated that he e-mailed the manager, who would be in touch the following day. We assumed we would be allowed to return to the roll in shower room. We are still waiting for that follow up. When we checked out, the assistant manager was on duty and we mentioned the room issue to her. Her response was that shed throw some points to our Hilton account. Throwing some points on our account does not equate to 4 nights of inferior shower accommodations.
