    Wonderful stay

    Loved my stay, the staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Doors were sealed which I liked and everyone wore face masks. Breakfast wasn't much due to covid but included a protein so I was more than happy. Last hotel I stayed at didnt offer breakfast which was awful. Definite will restay when in town next.

    Bussiness Stay

    My stays can range from 1-30+ nights. This was one of my longer stays. Rue, Andreda, Amanda and Dominique were AMAZING!!! They always made sure to greet me anytime they would see me. Always made me feel welcome. Anytime I'm in area this is now my go to hotel. Thank you again!!!

    Poor customer service

    At 9:45 pm our family of 6 began taking showers, only to find there is no shampoo in the pumps in the shower. They are all out and wont get us any from another room or go to the store to buy any. They shouldve informed us at checkin so we couldve bought some while we were out for dinner. Very inconvenient and poor customer service. No attempt to resolve the situation. What hotel doesnt provide shampoo? We did not bring any bc it should be provided.

    Family trip

    Our visit was absolutely amazing! Room was very clean. Employees went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home.. when coming to Birmingham we will always stay at this property!! The housekeeping manager Ariel was very nice and making sure we had everything we needed for our family of 6!

    BFFs GM and Housekeeping Manager together are turning the hotel into a dump.

    I edited this to remove names because the GM complained to Trip Advisor because she was included along with her best friend the Housekeeping Manager. Her name is listed on this site in response to other comments and the Housekeeping Managers name is listed on this site as well by other guests. I posted this full unedited review on google under reviews. She states she cannot find my stay but, that is an outright lie and the only rebuttal she could come up with. I stand firmly by both reviews: This hotel is in a great area and has quite a lot of potential but, management is lacking in professionalism, cleanliness and overall guest hospitality. I saw and heard the GM JD refer to a guest who very politely & discretely pointed out that another guest who completely was not following COVID precautions in public spaces or monitoring their children around the food and breakfast bar as dirty, black Santa. The GM then did absolutely nothing to correct the situation. The GMs comment and failure to act was disgusting, inappropriate, immature and most importantly, dangerous to the public. The carpet in my room appeared dirty and had an odor. There was old bedding from another guest on the sofa bed. The covers on the shower and body gel fall off constantly without touching and are dirty. There is a significant amount of poop in the grass and on the pavement in the dog area. The shower head had a white/gray film on it from lack of cleaning. Deep cleaning my own room was not exactly exciting. The housekeeping manager AF/AS was routinely out of uniform, very unkempt and very impolite to other housekeeping staff, front desk staff members and guests alike. I observed her going in and out of several clean rooms with no mask. I observed the housekeeping manager on several personal phone calls during which she was shouting and using profanity. I overheard a housekeeping staff member say they believe the housekeeping manager steals their tips from the rooms. I am not sure how actual staff performing work can be professional, neat and polite but, the housekeeping manager is far from it. Apparently, the housekeeping manager and GM are friends outside of the workplace as I also observed both engaged in inappropriate conversations regarding guests, staff and social media. Interestingly, the GM JD states AF/AS is an asset to the hotel in review responses on this site but, glosses over the guest compliments of other staff members. Birmingham police were called to the hotel a total of twice in one week during my two week stay. One call was for a guest car break in and, I am unsure of the reason for the 2nd call. There is not an actual view of the downtown Birmingham city area as indicated in the amenities list. There are several other reputable hotel brand properties in the area so it is not hard for guests to begin overlooking this one for better managed options. Current management is highly lacking, inefficient and inattentive. Buyer beware, bring cleaning supplies and proceed with caution. JD the GM will try to block you from speaking to owners but, I highly encourage anyone with an issue to escalate it over her (as I intend to) as she hides issues while doing absolutely nothing to correct them.
