Good ValueIf you are looking for nothing fancy, back to basic stay, this is the place to be. The staff is friendly and helpful, once my toilet was clogged and i told the reception. The night i came back to the hotel the toilet was working again. I stayed in room 209, twin bed and reasonable pillows. I am a picky person when it comes to beds and pillows, i still could get a good rest. Curtains nicely blocks all the light. There is a tv and small desk, shower and toilet separate. Just all the basics you need. Towels, shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairdryer, air-conditioner, water kettle, paper cups, slippers and even a gas mask! There is a separate water tap, apparently for drinking water, but i didn't dare to try. Got some bottled water for 3RMB a bottle at front desk. There are some stores nearby, including restaurants, fruit shop and the 24h open 7/11 convenient store. It's a 15min walk to Jinsong station. One thing that was rather unpleasant was that there isn't a good ventilation in the room. There is a window with mosquito block net, but it faces next door's restaurant's kitchen's fumes in the night. Can open in the morning though. Another thing you would have to be able to accept is that many local Chinese are staying in the hotel and they have different standards of living: they can be loud in talking or slamming the door. Also one night there was some pretty loud love making... I was in a good mood so i just laughed about it. One night there was another hotel guest trying to log into my room, that got me quite a scare. They couldn't open the door with their card, must've bern some kind of misunderstanding. Also the receptionist forgot to add another night on my hotel card, so i couldn't open the door and had to make a second run to the reception. Minor things. All in all, a very qualified two stars hotel. If i needed a stay in this area again, would definitely come back. I paid 270RMB a night.

Cannot find anything seriously bad about itThis is a dirt cheap two star hotel. The room was tiny and the bed was rock hard. There was no breakfast lounge in the hotel and this is perhaps its greatest asset. The hotel is clean. Air condition in the room was powerful. The bathroom was super tiny, but plenty of hot water in the shower. Staff were friendly, polite, alert and precise in their information. I was able to park my car just outside the gate in the street. I was not able to observe anyone smoking in the hotel. This is a no-nonsense hotel which has pulled their act together. A room card was needed to operate the elevator, a nice security detail. If you just need a bed for the night in Chaoyang District in Beijing, look no further. We paid 230 something with a membership card. Highly recommended. I will go here again.
