  Old style charmer

  Charming old building in quiet part of Holyhead with enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming hosts. Lots of thought gone into little details and very enjoyable breakfast. Great recommendations of dinner spots and just a great place to visit.

  Friendly and Well Equipped Hotel

  Stayed here for one night while walking the coast of Anglesey. The owners are very friendly and do a great breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable with lots of facilities and nice quiet area near town centre and ferry port. It is a no-frills, pleasant place, good for a night or two. Holyhead has sadly fallen on hard times but there are beautiful coastal walks and beaches within walking distance of the hotel and all round the island if you have a map and some boots.

  Holyhead Lodge

  I spent 4 nights here and was treated with such warm hospitality as if I was one of the family. Mel and Pearl really aim to please. The lodge is in a quiet area, but within easy walking distance from shops and transport. Breakfast is a stand-out; a delightful old-fashioned menu consisting of fresh fruit and yoghurt, muffins and/or toast with eggs and bacon or mushies made to order. And fresh juices and coffee or tea. I'll definitely return to Holyhead Lodge next time I'm in that part of the world.

  Outstanding stay 5*

  What can we say about our stay. From the minute we arrived, we were treated with superb hospitality. Fresh coffee upon arrival and homemade muffins. Our room was spotless and nothing was too much of an ask. The breakfast was outstanding and we have travelled a fair bit. Smoked bacon and fiery sausages from the local butchers were to die for. They simply couldn't do enough for us. We will be back next year to explore.

  Overnight stay

  We had an early ferry crossing the fiollowing morning so it was well positioned for the docks, the owners were very friendly & gave advice on places to eat , our room was small but comfy, & well priced, Due to leaving early in the morning we were unable to have the cooked breakfast, but there was a cold breakfast available which set us up well for our travels . Would definitely recommend staying here.
