    Comfortable & clean

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Had booked a single room but was actually allocated a small double. Very clean & comfortable. Decor was a little dated but room was nice. Warm & a very comfortable bed. Nice cooked breakfast in the morning with decent veggie options. Short distance into the town of Alsager. No evening meal but Greene King pub serving food is just down the road.

    Great Value - Great Hospitality

Very accommodating hosts, offering pet friendly accommodation and making a late check in possible, enabling us to break up a long drive. Host kindly assisted with our luggage on arrival. Our clean, spacious room had everything we needed during our pit stop and was furnished with crisp linen, towels, shampoo, shower gel, hand soap as well as tea coffee making facilities. Our stay proved to be great value at just £70 including cooked breakfast (2 adults in triple room) and considering we were travelling with our two, small dogs. Breakfast was good, particularly the quality sausages, there was plenty of it and it was cooked well. Our host, Henry, was kind, helpful and friendly and we will definitely return. Thank you for having us stay and looking after us so well.

    Friendly. Affordable. Great Breakfast.

I have stayed at the hotel several times visiting family. It is run by a lovely and very friendly couple who make an excellent breakfast. For a double bed and a full english @ £65 its hard to beat. Cheers.

    Relaxing enjoyable stay

This was the last night of our tour of the more far flung areas of Scotland. It was a 3pm check in which was the earliest we came across on our trip as others had delayed check in due to Coronavirus. It was a beautiful day when we arrived and we relaxed outside with some drinks at the bar on the terrace before dinner soaking up the wonderful views. The staff were friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our dinner, my husband had fillet steak and I had fish and chips, both were very good. We had been upgraded to a balcony room which had a wonderful view, the room was a good size. In the morning there was no need to book a time for breakfast or tell them want you wanted the night before which was the only hotel we stayed at that didnt request booking a time. The breakfast was excellent and generous. Also the breakfast was served until 10am and checkout 11am later than most, which were usually 9am and 10am respectively. The hotel is a little shabby in places and the reception area does not give a very good first impression. However its clean and has wonderful views and staff And a nice relaxed vibe. The usual safety measures were in place and all staff wore masks. What was really nice about this hotel is that despite the virus they are managing to keep service almost the same. Its a good size so this probably helps with social distancing but they make an effort to make your stay as normal as possible. Im giving it top marks not necessarily because it was perfect but because it was our last night and it was my favourite hotel we visited and felt safe and relaxed.

    Excellent

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights, this B & B is one of the best we have stayed in, it is very clean, comfortable beds, good sized rooms and the breakfast just sets you up for the day. Excellent value. Highly recommend it
