  Nice place to visit the National Park

  I've been at Holiday View Inn just two nights to visit the Taman Negara. The place is unfortunately tem minutes walking from the jetty to get to national park, but it's a nice place. The room is big and clean, and the bathroom as well. You have free bottle water, and tea and coffe. The air con works really well. A nice play to stay

  Close to town

  Not a bad stay at all - room was clean and decent. Pillows are hard as rocks. Need to be careful at night opening the door as many bugs will swarm in the room - first night we spent trying to rid the room of them. Only a five minute walk to town and all the activities we had planned.

  Horrible

  Ive never seen such a horrible and disgusting room. All the walls including the sheets were covered in dirty stains (see the pictures). Besides we had all kinds of creatures in our room (ants, bugs and a lot of lizzards) because of holes in the door. Theres a lot of deferred maintenance. The hotel is cheap, but that doesnt mean you can treat your guests like this. Fathers Guesthouse in the Cameron Highlands has the same rate per room per night, but that guesthouse is awesome. It looks like the owner of Holiday View Inn spends all the money he earns on his scooter, instead of painting the wall or buy new sheets. Also be aware that you have to pay cash and there are none ATMs in Taman Negara. The only thing positive about this hotel is the location. You can walk in less than 10 minutes to the river where you can take the jetty to Taman Negara.

  Value for money hotel.....

  We went there in Feb 2016 and stayed for one night. Hotel is located at a little distant from the market. Room was ok for one nigh stay. Basic facilities were provided in the room. Staffs were helpful.

  Stay at Holiday View Inn Taman Negara

  The place was up a slope and away from the town centre by a several hundred meters, but still fairly near. The place has a new wing under construction. The old wings look a bit run down. Basic facilities are there: Beds, air-conditioner, bathroom with basic and hot water shower. Bottles of drinking water is provided but there is no facility to boil water in the room and no other drinks provided. There is no TV, no WiFi, no meals, no restaurant. The shower initially lacked water pressure, but after removing the filter and cleaning it out, the pressure was much better. Expected a bit more for what we paid for it.
