  A Trip Back in Time

  I have visited all parts of Florida all my life and have always enjoyed it. This trip was no exception. This location is more basic than most, but also comfortable, well maintained and managed. Two motel rooms have been combined to provide two full bathrooms and a small kitchenette (fully equiped) but leaving lots of space in the unit for a full table and pull-out couch in one section and more than enough room for two double beds in the other. I would suggest you bring all supplies as only TP is available. You are steps from the gorgeous beach and the crystal clear pool with BBQs, tables and lounge chairs. Very relaxing week!

  Nice place to relax

  Great location, beach and many local shops in close proximity. Very friendly and helpful staff. Need a car to get to local stores and attractions. Timing very important to take advantage of warm weather and calm seas.

  My Florida Vacation

  I had not been back to Florida for a vacation since 2002 I believe. I was scrolling through resorts in the Daytona Beach area and came across Holiday Shores. They had an open unit on the week I wanted to travel so I booked it. Everything looked great in the pictures but you never really know what you have until you get there. When I arrived and checked out my unit I was very impressed. It was clean as a whistle and laid out nicely. I booked a 1 bedroom unit. There are 2 queen beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room so you could sleep 6 if need be. The resort is right on the ocean shore. There is also a swimming pool on site. I was on the 2nd floor so my view of the ocean was a good one. 2 full bathrooms, nice sized kitchen and a living room dining room combo. There is an ice machine available down on the 1st level if needed. The unit was impeccably clean. It was quiet but you could still hear the ocean. TV in the living room and bedroom. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. My only real complaint is there are not enough electrical outlets in the living room dining room area. In order to use my laptop I had to move the dining room table over closer to the wall where the TV is located to get an electrical outlet for the laptop. Having said that I would definitely stay there again if or when the opportunity presents itself. It's a nice resort and the staff is most helpful. I recommend it as a place to enjoy a great vacation.

  Beach weekend

  We really enjoyed our weekend stay here. The rooms may be a little dated as the other reviews state, however they are very very clean and well maintained. The full kitchen is well stocked with utensils, gas grills by the pool have utensils as well. Both the pool and pool deck are clean and maintained and front desk staff is helpful. We will absolutely be back for another weekend get away.

  Great place to stay

  We had a two bathroom unit with 2 beds and a pullout couch. We were only there for a weekend but if we had stayed longer the kitchen would have really come in handy. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The pool did feel a little narrow but we really enjoyed it.
