  Over clean

  Great location,right at the subway line 3,quite close to the railway station and the Zijinshan hill.Mordern style room,French window,king-size bed,only the switch of the bathroom which is set up at the front door is not reasonable and convenient.Clean, even over clean, I mean it seemed not environmental to change the soap and the slippers everyday.

  Forget about the restaurant...

  I stayed here for one night. The bedroom was clean and nice , with new furniture and a beautiful bathroom. Unfortunately the restaurant is not good: we entered the restaurant 40 mins. before the closing time, enough for a quick dinner. The buffet was cold and not very good, without any cooking assistance at the hot-noodles area. The cook arrived later when we started to ask for him. The staff started to empty the buffet 20 mins before the closure time , while we were still eating. The waitress asked us in an embarrassing english to take all the food within a couple of minutes since they were about to close the restaurant. The breakfast has the same buffet foods, the only difference is the milk/youghurt dispenser and the cereals area. We had a meeting there and we were forced to have lunch into the living area near the hall: I had the worst hamburger ever. I underline I'm used to Chinese food and I like it, but eating here has been the worst experience I ever had . I would expect a very different quality in such an international hotel. Receptionists are definitely well prepared and able to speak a very good English , but the restaurant staff isn't at all.

  Beautiful location

  This value for money Property in close vicinity to the beautiful lake and rooms are mountain facing with some extra costs advisable. You can take a great walk around the lake which is about 6 km walk evenings were pleasant. The metro is just adjacent, the restaurant had a cook he cooked a delicious vegetarian curry when explained. Breakfast was ok, rooms clean and spacious, room service was quick.

  Good location but bad service

  Chain hotel near the picturous lake with standard for the Holiday Inn facilities but bad service and maintanance. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable, but we were enforced to change room three times during our two days stay. The most lagies on reception have poor English and in spite that them all have tried to help it takes a lot of time to resolve any question. Breakfast was normal, but for sure the level is much lower than was announced by stars and advertising.

  Very good location, customer's management to be improved

  Purpose of this trip was to visit Nanjing and I have chosen this hotel as I wanted to stay in a relatively quiet place but yet not far from the main points of the city. One of the big advantages of this hotel is the subway exit right beside of the hotel entrance. I was asked for a single queen/king size bed no smoking room and I was given a double bed smoking room, with the excuse that the hotel has no single bed rooms.... and the pictures posted here about the king size beds what are?..... DISAPPOINTING. On the other hand, I had a room on the opposite side of the elevator, and this played a key role to have a quieter stay as I was not disturbed by the passage of the other customers....... GOOD. Having the membership of the IHG hotels, at the check-in I received the welcome drink voucher. Once at the bar I discovered that soft drinks and beers we only at room temperature..... Maybe this hotel need some found raising to afford a small fridge...... DISAPPOINTING. Due to the Chinese New Year Holidays, the main restaurant was closed but it was not an issue for me. Beds were very comfortable and the room clean. GOOD. Light switches were the main issue..... almost impossible to read the purpose of the switch unless using the mobile flashlight to highlight the writing on it. We also took two days to find that the socket for the hair drier in the bathroom is hidden under the sink. The last day I wanted to have a stroll along the lake with my wife after the check-out and, thanks to staff Mr. Vincent Yang, we had three extra parking hours to enjoy the last moments of our vacation. GOOD.
