  Nice and clean and very good service.

  We made last minute reservations for family members who were coming to Illinois for a funeral and we needed rooms with two queen beds. Holiday Inn was very accommodating. They have a nice bar area for gathering and a nice breakfast menu. Although the coffee was not strong enough for me.

  Softball Stop and Stay

  This hotel is just down the road from the softball complex. Very convenient location. The hotel was fresh & clean. There was a nice patio area and some seating in the lobby (though crowded and not comfortable for the group). Rooms were comfortable though. The complimentary breakfast was nice to order off a small menu and not buffet style.

  Great stay near everything!

  This is a newer hotel in excellent condition with very friendly staff. Its located within walking distance to a large AMC theater, HyVee grocery store and countless restaurants, including Starbucks, Steak & Shake and Famous Daves. There are also two gas stations very nearby. Our room (241) had two queens, microwave and mini fridge. It was directly behind the elevator and the laundry/ice machine room, yet super quiet. Beds are comfy and breakfast yummy. We were there over the Christmas holiday. Great value and would stay again.

  Beautiful rooms

  Wow! These rooms are great! Comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The lack of carpet is a plus for those who suffer from allergies. Rooms feel and look clean! Great housekeeping staff - very attentive to details.

  the PEOPLE

  We booked this hotel because it was near Proctor/Unity Point hospital. My daughter was having eye surgery there the next day. She is a year and half years old and it made sense to stay in a hotel instead of making the long drive with a hungry toddler. :) I was nervous and upset about the whole thing but we wanted to make the best of it and try and relax a bit with the pool, etc. When we arrived we were instantly upgraded to a suite. No questions were asked or expectations when we arrived. Darrell at the front desk just said it looks like you could use some more room. This meant a great deal considering we had a pack n play and mattress for my daughter to sleep in and this gave her her own "room" in order to get a good night's rest. As we headed up to our room, Micka gave my daughter and chocolate milk and rice krispies treat. Every staff member was so kind and had a smile on their face, giving me so much peace and calm that it was going to be alright. They were literal ANGELS to me. The room was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and breathtaking. I wanted to stay all week. After swimming in the pool - we went up to get ready for bed and when we were taking the cart back down, Darrell met us in the hallway with a complimentary treat, offered to take the cart down for us and said he would be praying for my family. THIS MEANT EVERYTHING TO ME. Nothing else really mattered because the people there made the world of the difference. One a scary night they made it bright. I would stay here 10000000 times over.
