  Sorpresa de una noche

  Yendo por tierra a Washington D.C. el tiempo y cansancio no nos dejó seguir, nos desviamos de la 95 Norte y pasamos una agradable noche, habitaciones pulcras, personal amable. Hay personas blancas y morenas en el lugar y todos, absolutamente todos son muy amables con los extranjeros que no sabemos muy bien inglés.

  Wonderful Stay and Experience

  During Covid, planning a family vacation has its added layer of stress and concerns. We live in New Jersey and had to visit family in Orlando, FL so we decided to rent an RV and make the journey as safe as possible for our one-year-old. This was the first time driving an RV and we weren't as prepared as we should have been. During our first day of driving, we realized we needed to find a clean, comfortable and safe lodging to stay overnight that was a halfway point from our destination. We chose North Carolina and as i am a IHG member chose Holiday Inn as the best option. I called the Rocky Mount property and was greeted by the nicest front desk agent named James White. He immediately addressed all concerns I had regarding Covid protocols and hygiene and was able to assist us in the best rate due to my IHG membership and my husband being a first responder. We drove over and upon our arrival, the experience got even better. My son was overly tired and needed to get to sleep asap and he made the check-in experience so smooth and pleasant. He even upgraded us to a suite so we can put him to sleep immediately and we could have dinner as a couple in the living room space while he rested safely. I am so thankful for his generosity, professionalism, and kind nature. It truly made the 1st long family road trip a success. Thanks, James! you are a true GEM!!!

  Comfortable stay

  It was a quick overnight stay. We were alarmed that many of the patrons did not wear masks in the premises. We waited until the elevator emptied out before entering. We waited for sometime before the person at the reception showed up. There is no breakfast provided. The room was comfortable.

  Above and beyond Manager

  Came in after a very long tough trip with the whole family (5 kids- and twins who were both car sick the entire way), ready to unwind and decompress. Upon check-in at our front desk, we found out that the hotel only had one of our cribs that we confirmed for our twins. The hotel manager James White heard the mishap and personally drove over to a sister hotel and picked up a crib for us and brought it up to our room- all after his shift had ended!!!! What an amazing gesture! Unbelievable service right there! We cant speak highly enough about how much he cares for his customers.

  Stay Anywhere Else

  We had to stay here because our volleyball tournament was a stay and play. Holiday Inn definitely did NOT think our business was important! The customer service was non existent! Our room was never cleaned and the towels and coffee werent restocked. The remote control for the T.V. was missing. Breakfast was advertised between 7:00-10:00 a.m. but was totally closed down by 9:15. When we asked, the staff told us it would be at least 30 minutes before they could make the girls anything. Pool was closed. No late check out option either. If given the chance, choose to stay anywhere else.
