Sewage smellWell overall the stay was decent all was good, the only inconvenience was a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom I had to stuff a towel under the door to help stop the smell I talked to the front desk agent in the morning he just brushed it off as nothing. Beware room 242 bad smell if you get it request another room.

All negative reviews were either lies or extreme exaggerationsCame to Redding to go to the Highly blessed church Bethel Redding, which is just 1 offramp North of here. After reading so many negative reviews, I was a bit apprehensive as to what my room would like, but like all other Holiday Inns, I wasn't disappointed at all! Much to.my surprise, this room was everything a 3 hotel should be and more! Bed was as comfy & soft as any 4 hotel, I have ever been to, shower was hot, clean & powerfully glorious, hallelujah! So beware when you see negative reviews, many times it's just from disgruntled people who have nothing better to do with their lives but concoct lies & deceit about reputable companies like Holiday Inn. Thank you Holiday Inn, I will be back, so keep the lights on for me

I WILL NEVER STAY WITH ANOTHER IGH OWNED FACILITY.Room was clean and beds were comfortable,except for the carpet it was filthy. We booked our room for one night. We had decided to stay again and booked another night upon our arrival. Eddy, apparently the STAND IN MANAGER, came out to pool area and asked my kids to get out of the hot tub. There was caution take around it. Fair enough and I told them to get out. I had my husband come down to see if we could pay for the 2 hours we had stayed over 11am. Upon approaching the desk I began to tell EDDY what had happened. EDDY rudley interrupted and and I said excuse me don't interrupt me while I am speaking. Basically he ended up throwing and papercliped note at me and said he was "done" dealing with us and when I wake asked for the corporate number he screamed at me to Google it. Also, in my reservation I distinctly said I was to pay cash for the room. Eddy charged my card not ONCE BUT TWICE!!! Apparently this is standard and they tacked on a 30 "fee" that will be refunded when "THEY FEEL LIKE IT" SAVE YOUR MONEY OR SPEND A LITTLE MORE. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO HOSPITALITY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. AND JOE, YOU SHOULD CALL ME. NEVER AGAIN AND I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE IN YOUR AREA AND I ALSO WORK FOR A LARGE CORPORATION.

DO NOT STAY HEREWARNING: BUG IN BED! TOILET CLOGGED! CHARGED DOUBLE! DO NOT STAY HERE! NO RESPONSE FROM MANAGEMENT OR CORPORATE! I booked a room here on Snaptravel. I was told when I arrived to the hotel that my reservation from Snaptravel was a scam. So they couldn't give me a room. After 2 hours of back and forth with Snaptravel and Holiday Inn, they realized my reservation was legit and finally gave me a room. After I unloaded a full pick up truck and car load of stuff into the room, I layed on the bed to rest only to find a BUG in the bed. I took a pic and quickly went to the front desk and asked them to refund my money. They said they could not refund me because it was Snaptravel whom I paid. So they offered me another room, while I waited for Snaptravel to respond about my complaint. They did not. I moved all of my stuff into the new room. In the morning, the toilet backed up. Yes, it did not flush! So, I went to the front desk to complain and they said they would let maintenance know. No apology, no offer to compensate me. After getting home a day later, I realized that not only did Snaptravel never offer me a refund, but Holiday Inn also charged me for the room. So I was charged 2x for the same room with a bug and a toilet that did not work and terrible service. I called the hotel for 3 days to speak with a manager to remedy the situation. There was no manager working and no one took a message and they told me they could not help me because they only charged me once. They did not even listen to my complaint. So I called corporate Holiday Inn and they did take notes and give me a case number and assured me this was unacceptable and I would be getting a refund. I would be hearing from them within 48 hours. It has been 12 days and they have not contacted me at all in any way. Snaptravel has agreed that they will give me a refund if Holiday Inn agrees in writing to refund my money. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Quick business tripThere was a mistake with our online booking. I called them directly and not only did they give me the room I needed they honored my special rate!!! The room was clean, 4 pillows on each comfy bed, great free breakfast off a real menu included. I will always stay here. Im so glad they messed up my online booking through a different site, not the Hotel, or I wouldnt have found this gem!
