    Buena Opcion como Hotel de paso!

    Tuvimo que parar camino a washington y la experiencia fue aceptable como en este tipo de hoteles de cadena. El personal muy amable y el desayuno aceptable. La habitacion un poco pequeña nada mas, recomendable.

    Muy buena opción para pernoctar en Princeton, habitaciones amplias y limpias con camas cómodas, ofrece un desayuno con poca variedad pero suficiente,dispone de parking gratuito y el personal de Recepción muy amable y proactivo. Muy buena relación calidad-precio

    Nope. Not staying here again.

    So the insect crawling on my bed was the least of my issues with this hotel. The bug was from the first room we had on day 1. Never saw another, so thats good. BUT, the toilet ran and ran and ran. Wouldnt stop. No problem, I figured Id deal with it since its been a long time since Ive traveled and Im promised to be grateful & stay positive. Rug was dirty, bathroom ceiling falling down, still I dealt with it. Day 2... 9:30pm after a long hot day, the toilet stopped working. Wouldnt flush. I looked in the tank. Parts were duct taped and any fixing was beyond me. Tried to call front desk through hotel phone....busy. Had to make a long distance call on my cell to get an answer. The woman at the front desk said shed send up maintenance. After 1 hour and zero maintenance response, I called front desk again. The response was ridiculous; oh, I tried to reach someone but no one answered. Ill give you a new room. Ok. Packed up, went downstairs, got new keys, dragged all belongings back up to third floor to the new room. This room was much cleaner. The toilet wasnt running but it was very full of water. But it worked! Exhausted, I turned on the air conditioner. The knob was broken and I could only select the auto option. All night long, the air conditioner would run for 2 minutes then stop for 50 seconds (yes I counted, all night long) and run for 2 minutes then stop for 50 seconds. The room was so warm we woke up in a pool of sweat. I immediately went down to the front desk that morning and asked for a room where everything worked. We were then sent to the second floor. The room was clean, ceiling in tact, toilet worked, air conditioner worked....so far so good. Took a nap since I barely got sleep the night before because of the heat. Woke up and then noticed the most disgusting large brownish stain on the mattress pad on my bed. I couldnt fight anymore. I gave in. I just was very careful around the stain. It was so gross I couldnt take a picture of it. Anyway, I was so glad to get the hell out of that hotel and I will never return. And in case youre not as picky and want to stay here, the pool & restaurant are both closed. Not that I would trust either due to the grossness I encountered in the rooms. The entire property was unkempt and just plain neglected. Im sorry if this was a result of the pandemic but it seemed the issues had been there long before Covid-19 found its way out of Chinas borders.

    Not Sure What To Think

    Had to come to the area for surgery. We stay at a lot of IHG properties so it isnt really clear what is happening here. It says newly renovated rooms, but maybe something stopped somewhere with COVID-19, but there is just something wrong. Outside the property isnt anything up to par like other IHG properties. The smoking section is right in the doorway. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. The second elevator was out of service, but getting to the fourth floor was no problem, however the hallway was hot and stuffy. Going down the hallway it smelled like pot. Our first room the shampoo bottle had been used, had no shower curtain and it was clear someone had sat on the bed. I went back down to ask for another room. The next room was also hot, we had to prop up the fridge, and it was clear that cleaning was not the best either. I wasnt really sure about the renovation-the tubs are old, closets old, and the door locks and the swipe card kind. The dust/dirt on the fridge my husband wiped with our sanitizer wipes. We left for a while to let the room cool down. We had food from home since NJ has no restaurants open, no hotels with food, no indoor eating. There is NO MICROWAVE. The only one located is on the first floor. The place needs a lot of help. This place should be no more than 68 dollars a night. There is absolutely no benefit to staying here whatsoever.

    I'll find another IHG location next time

    My reservation was for the 17th-21st. I arrived very late... technically it was after midnight so it was the 18th. Checking in I gave the confirmation number. Person 1 at the front desk never mentioned any issue with the reservation. 2 days later my keycard didn't work. This seems to be a normal occurrence at this location. Back downstairs to find out the issue. Turns out my reservation had been closed. It then took Front Desk Person 2, 20+ mins to enter the new stay, extend or reactivate the original stay or whatever he was doing. Finally got the key cards back and off I went. I also couldn't figure out why the room had not been refreshed by the 2nd day. Then I found a letter at the front desk stating there was no housekeeping unless you ask and then its an additional fee. Again, something that was not communicated when I checked in. It took 2 days and 2 requests to get the ironing board replaced as the one in the room was broken and would not stand up. Couple of wks later when reviewing my expense acct, there were 2 charges... I guess due to the fact that the reservation had been closed and reopened or whatever. Could not get a copy of the bill on-line as the stay did not show in my IHG acct. Called the front desk and after 20 mins, Person 3 could not find any record of the stay and therefore couldn't provide the bill. I was given the choice to call back later and speak to the Mgr or I could call IHG. They tout that they are recently renovated... but its still the same cramped, dingy, poorly lite rooms just w/ fresh paint, wall paper and furniture. Except the renovation apparently did not apply to the mattress which seem to be about 20 yrs old. And the AC unit was so loud, I had to turn it off to be on the phone. Really disappointing for a Holiday Inn.
