  Nice place - a little dated

  There are not many national chain hotels to choose from in Portsmouth. In fact, this is the only one in the downtown. It was clean, service was good, but the rooms were small. You can tell this in not a new property. But the pool is BIG and nice if you have a family.

  Wonderful Hotel

  Was in town for a funeral. The hotel was in a great location. Very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fabulous pool for the kids to unwind. Only complaint is the elevator is small and a little slow. This is a great hotel! They allow pets we were great by a friendly poodle in the hall. Will stay here again when were in the area.

  Sally Cook runs a great, warm hotel. Here staff, Hazel and friends are excellent. Strong customer skills and always going the extra mile for each customer. Nice charm in the hotel and a slightly retro look with I really liked.. Beautiful indoor pool also. Lastly, my internet was not connecting and it was all systems go to help me. Sally Cook, the General Manager came to my room for an update. I had two tech support members on the phone and the front desk staff helping also. Best customer support Ive experienced in a long time! Of course, my internet was fixed in a timely fashion also. Hope you have a chance to stay and meet this unique staff that really gets it!

  Great place!

  I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and really responsive. The room was spacious and furnished well for a business traveler. I ate at Oscars, the on site restaurant, and it was delicious. The wifi worked well. Over all - a really nice property that is clean and well managed. Would definitely book again!

  Home while on business

  Hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to the things I needed during my stay. The room I had was very clean, no issues with bugs of any sort. The bathroom was a little small though to where the door was right at the front edge of the toilet making it awkward to get in and close the door. The shower water pressure could have used a small boost and the shower would be perfect. Other than that, a good place to stay if ever in the Portsmouth, Ohio area.
