  Mask Policy Not Enforced

  Despite signage that masks are required, this policy is not enforced. Guests were in the lobby, in the elevator, and even talking with the front desk without masks, but nothing seemed to be said or done. This is in part an issue with the individual guests, but the hotel should make some effort. Overall, Id say a third of people had masks covering their mouth and nose, a third had them covering only their mouth, and then the rest didnt have anything at all. In short, dont advertise a mask policy that doesnt really exist. Some people book because of things like this. We stayed at a different hotel our second night in the area and had a completely different experience. Everyone but one guy had a mask on. Its not impossible to accomplish.

  Great location, service, and value

  This hotel has been recently renovated. Its clean,modern, and convenient. You simple walk outside and down the steps to the beach. It has a shower to clean off any sand before you go inside. The adjacent beach is quiet and clean (clearer and less shell debris than Myrtle). The staff was friendly and very helpful! My ocean view room was nicely appointed and super comfortable. The balcony had ample room, great views and was covered so I enjoyed the beach even when it was raining. I did not want to leave. Convenient to grocery stores, Walmart, State Park, mini-golf, and a Duck Donuts. Its a short, straight 20 minutes to Myrtle if you prefer the tourist activities. The on-site restaurant had a lot of variety and quality food! I had the dry rub wings for dinner and the French toast for breakfast! Both were incredibly delicious! I opted for the breakfast ( which was offered at a ridiculously low price) but it did not disappoint and far exceeded my expectations! Ill be back with my family in tow! Again staff was phenomenal!

  Amazing view, clean room

  The staff was great...all very friendly & helpful! We stayed in room 516 which had an amazing view and Barbara did an outstanding job cleaning our room. It was super clean! We were very pleased with our stay! It was an excellent experience!

  Clean!!

  Super clean hotel, very friendly staff Jill at the front desk was very nice. The hotel is right on the beach. Pool was clean, fire pit was great after a busy day. The restaurant was really good outside next to the ocean.I definitely will be back.

  Check in and out was excellent, The people were very professional and down to earth.The rooms were clean.Went to restaurant next morning again excellent food and service and very reasonable. Overall great stay here.although it was r aining view of beach was great and pool areas was clean and nice size.
