  IMPRESSED!

  First and foremost, I generally look for the closest Marriott property in town whenever I travel. In Morgantown, I was in unfamiliar territory so I decided to shop around and do a little research before I committed to a hotel. (Ill be staying several nights over the course of a medical procedure Im having done at WVU.) I contacted every hotel I was considering via e-mail. The Holiday Inn was the first to respond and also the only hotel to offer me their nightly rate in writing. (I dont like hidden fees at the door.) No surprises when I showed up! The rate was exactly what theyd quoted me, the room was super clean and quiet. The bed was ultra comfortable. There was a Keurig in the room which was an added bonus. The shower had ample room and it didnt take a degree in engineering to figure out how to adjust the water temperature. As I said earlier, Im generally a Marriott customer, but because of their honesty and the experience they delivered, Ill be staying here over the course of my procedure!

  Broke down driving through and needed a place to stay

  The staff here was great. I am driving acrossed the country and broke down. I was only hoping to stay one day but that turned in to three and the staff was very accommodating. Wifi was good. Pool closed during covid. Thanks again to the staff for being helpful

  Relieved my oncerns

  It was our first time to stay in a motel since initial Covid 19 concerns. I had surgery in Morgantown, so we had to be there early on August 8 and my husband would be staying that night also. We checked in and found it exceptionally clean with everyone wearing masks, hand sanitizer every where, and an exceptional restaurant on the premises. It relieved my concerns and found the hotel and restaurant were very accommodating. Hotel was quiet, across street from hospital, and convenient for our needs. Decor was calm and attractive. Complimentary coupon for breakfast and dinner. This hotel is also close to the stadium when football resumes

  Top Notch Service

  I can't say enough good things about this team and how they care for their guests. While in town for a parent's surgery, they took excellent care of my family, from resetting the channels on our TV (which required the front desk manager come to the room and walk through this process himself), to the excellent service at breakfast in the restaurant, to the cheerful welcome when we returned from a long day at the hospital. Thank you, all. You never know why people are walking through your doors, but every single time, you've made me and my family feel like family before we left. We'll be back!

  This is the place to stay if you are visiting Morgantown. Its convenient to all the hospitals and the university. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this facility.
