  Hotel situado a las afueras de madison. Dispone de cafeteria pra el desayuno y donde poder comer o cenar o tomarte unas cervezas o copas. Habitaciones grandes y muy confortables. Es de la cadena holiday inn pero muy buena calidad.

  Hockey tournament stay

  The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool area was very nice. One of the largest hotel pools I have seen. We were in town for a hockey tournament and the hotel seemed incredibly inconvenienced to have us there. The restaurants Breakfast buffet was included in our rate and they were less than friendly about us partaking in the food that we had already paid for. A hotel that cares about their guests would have made arrangements for to ensure their guests had an opportunity to eat prior to their early games. The hotel staff seemed more interested in making things difficult for all of the hockey families staying. I would suggest they dont offer to host for tournaments again.

  Good Enough

  This is a standard Holiday Inn. Room was clean and staff was friendly. I was at this hotel to attend a business conference. The convention center was adequate but what really lacked was other activities near the hotel, that didnt require a short drive. We were well taken care of during our meeting. The restaurant grill was a good place to unwind and staff and food was good.

  A little concerning

  Stayed here for three days while in Madison for work. Ive stayed at other hotels in town but selected this one because it was a little more reasonably priced but sadly it shouldve been much more reasonably priced. From the outside and the area around it doesnt appear to be that dated but once inside the hallways, rooms and stairwell show their age. First of all I got to the point where I stopped using the front entry because it always reeked of smoke. I had a room on the top floor and my first beef was the room was practically hot. It took A lot of finagling to make the temperature decent. Then the bathroom door absolutely did not stay open. I finally wedged a towel at the bottom because it was bothering me so much to have the door slam every time I walked in there. Next thing I noticed was the line of crumbling ceiling paint and plaster near my window. This crumbling plaster was also noted in the stairwell to the point where pieces of plaster had actually fallen onto the floor (see pictures). I started taking the stairwell because of the overwhelming stench of cigarettes every time I walked in the lobby door. I had a couple of bottles of water that I put in the fridge. The next morning they were frozen solid. In an attempt to try and adjust the temperature I had to pull the fridge out at which point I noticed soda or coffee or something spilled all over the wall and not cleaned up. Breakfast is not included and there is virtually nothing offered other than basic coffee and black tea. This is very different from other holidayinns in town where they have manager happy hours etc. There is a restaurant on site where you can purchase breakfast for over $10. I did not eat breakfast or dinner in the restaurant. I did not use the pool. The fitness center is fine, has all the basic equipment. However for overall value it just doesnt cut it as you get a lot more at other Holiday Inns for not much more money, and less crumbling building.

  Saved us!

  We needed a same-day room because of a family emergency and they were so gracious! Made the reservation online, everything was waiting when we arrived. EVERYONE had masks on, kept distant, even had a bucket of sanitizer to drop your room key in when you checked out. Was pleasantly surprised the restaurant was open, but it was run well given the circumstances and the fact there's no other restaurant in easy walking distance.
