  Spotless and Value for Money

  Stayed here on Bank Holiday Monday as we travelled up from Wales to visit Leicester and Coventry. It was one of the cheaper options but the room was perfect for a one night stay. Room was fresh, spotless and the bed was huge. Great friendly staff and good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

  Holiday Inn is a brand I trust; not the most exciting of hotels, but in my experience, clean and comfortable. With several hotels in the area still closed because of lockdown, or charging inflated rates despite not offering their facilities like pools, restaurants etc because of restrictions, this hotel came into my radar as it seemed remarkably good value, being much cheaper than Premier Inn or Hiltons nearby. From the outside this hotel looks rather unusual, almost like a converted garden centre! But once you enter the building, you find a very smart and contemporary hotel. Free parking, always a bonus these days. Rooms were great - we took an executive room for a very small premium charge and were not disappointed. Very smart, clean and a pleasant place to spend time as well as sleep. Better than Premier Inn and in this sector thats saying something The bar restaurant area was obviously subject to COVID-19 restrictions, but despite these we felt this area was a bit too bright and harsh and not an area you felt you could comfortably relax in - Marriott Leicesters bar and reception area does this much better. Staff were very helpful and pleasant throughout the stay. Beds were firm - so that whether thats a plus or minus is down to the individual Really pleased with this hotel and would definitely consider staying again over the tired Premier Inns nearby. Marriott Fosse Park feels more luxurious but then you pay much more for the privilege.

  Excellent customer service

  Whilst staying at holiday inn, I was only planning to stay for a few nights but I ended up staying for longer due to a few members of staff. Magda, the matron at holiday inn was so kind and efficient and Samantha always had a smile on her face with helpful advice on places to eat in the area.

  Excellent Hotel - 100% recommend

  Stayed for two nights - the staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfy, great room service food available and there is cheery decor within the rooms and around the hotel! Also all the amenities you might need are available. Feels very covid-secure, too. All in all, an excellent hotel with lovely staff. Hope to return on future visits to Leicester.

  The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in

  Having stayed in many different holiday inn properties I am so disappointed about my stay at this one. The hotel itself is lovely, clean fresh and a nice atmosphere. Airy spacious rooms with everything you need. The bed however was absolutely awful. I booked a king room and on arrival the bed looked huge but I realised immediately that it was two single beds pushed together with a sheet on the top. The mattress on both beds felt like an incredibly cheap spring mattress and left me with the most horrendous back ache after getting very little sleep. The two beds were not level with with one mattress higher than the other one. I could not recommend this hotel and the main purpose of a hotel stay is to sleep and I got no sleep during my stay. Holiday inn .. please invest in some decent beds!
