  Quite Average - Poor Value

  Probably the greatest attribute of this hotel is its location: easily accessible eating establishments along with some shopping. As for the hotel itself, it does not include breakfast, which should be standard if you're paying these kind of room rates. Not that I'd expect great food, but certainly something of value. Wifi was hit and miss and will require patience.. Room was not the cleanest, as something stuck to my sock as I walked to the bathroom. The rooms look tired. The bed was comfortable, with pillow options. Cheap plastic glasses were available for water. The shower did its job. We did appreciate the complimentary Globe & Mail Expect to see a ding or two on your car doors with the exceptionally narrow parking slots. With so many large pick up trucks parked there, you'll be lucky to get into your vehicle. I'd suggest that you should look at alternatives in the area.

  AMAZING stay for a hockey game!!

  My husband and I have been frequent guests at Holiday Inn suites as they are a good clean and reliable hotel chain but this location "knocked it out of the park". Check in was fast and friendly including having a handout for bus times to the venue for special events. The hotel was fully booked that evening and we were VERY pleasantly surprised that we were given a complimentary upgrade to a HUGE suite with bubble tub, separate shower, living room etc. The room included two breakfasts the next morning that was choices off of a menu including eggs benedict! The breakfast also included taxes AND gratuities (we double checked!). We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant (Gabriel's ?) and dinner was AMAZING! The restaurant got swamped and likely needed more servers on but Michael our waiter was wonderful and comped us drinks since we had to rush to eat our food to get out in time. However, the food was amazing and we have eaten here before and it is even better. We highly recommend this hotel and dining.

  Great stay incredible location

  I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Huge spacious rooms with comfortable beds and mini fridge and microwave. We had an end Corner suite. There were lots of safety measures in place due to covid 19. The pool is done by prebookokg and you reserve for one hour and it is only your family that is allowed in during that time. Note, the onsite restaurant is temporarily closed, but no worries there are literally dozens of them right across the street including, Montantas, Kelseys, Harvey's, Zaks, crazy Horse, Milestones, Jack Astors. Shopping is right across the street also including Walmart, Shoppers, Loblaws..Banks( several) Movie theater, The Landmak is also there. There is a bus terminal also across the street so navigating Ottawa without a car would be a breeze. Hotel is also right off Hwy 417 ( Trans Canada) which takes right into D/T Ottawa in under 20 minutes

  Clean!!!

  Safe and clean. Room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing to note is that location is across 2 Homeless shelters but a key card is required to get into the hotel, room & underground parking after hours-whicj is great safety feature. The rooms are in excellent modern shape.

  A Excellent Resting Stop

  Greeted with humor but efficient and professional Holiday Inn guest representative Paul. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Restaurant not opened but did supply grab and grow for breakfast. Located close to Milestones and other restaurants. Plenty of parking. Lightning in the rooms not sufficient especially in the closet area. I would definitely stop there again.
