    Descanso Asegurado

    Paramos una noche a dormir en este hotel, íbamos rumbo a Orlando desde Coahuila México y puedo decirles que es el mejor hotel en el que paramos! las camas son deliciosas les garantizo descanso seguro. El hotel muy limpio y cuentan con desayuno a la carta que viene incluido en el precio del cuarto. Yo regresaría sin dudarlo.

    Dont eat therr

    Overall a nice hotel, but the food in the restaurant was horrible. 48 dollars for the filet and it was overcooked and mostly grizzle. Covered in sauce to hide flavor.the atmosphere was nice. As a single diner I was sent to the bar. When I inquired about a table I was told it would be a 20 minute wait. (In an empty restaurant)

    Nice Facility

    The facility is modern and the staff was friendly. Long time staff member John greeted and welcomed me and was very helpful. Staff is proud of the facility and all things were comfortable and worked well.

    Hotel seeks opportunity to charge guests higher rate compared to rate they booked room for. Beware of this scam!

    On March 3rd, 2020, I placed a reservation for this hotel, Holiday Inn Ocala Conference Center, for 1 room with 3 guests for March 6th, 2020 to March 8th, 2020 via the IHG website for $368.90, at the IHG Rewards Club Members Rate. I placed the names of the additional guests on the reservation as well. The additional guests arrived before me on March 6th, 2020. The front desk receptionist allowed them to check-in since their names were listed on the room. In order for them to check-in, the receptionist had one of them change the credit card on file to be his own. However, the receptionist failed to tell him that he was not having him sign for the rate that I booked the room for but a higher rate at a total cost of $435.50. The reservation form that the receptionist had him sign with the newer rate had my name and credit card information on the form. Upon my arrival, I went to the front desk to check-in, not knowing the additional guests arrived before me and were allowed to check-in since I had listed their names in the "additional guests" field. I asked if the receptionist needed me to sign for anything since I was the primary guest and he said no. On Sunday March 8th, I found the bill under the door and noticed the higher rate we were being charged. Since one if the other guests was now the one with his credit card on file for the room, he went down to get the bill rate fixed. The receptionist refused since he has signed that reservation form with the higher rate. The other guest refused to pay the higher rate and came back upstairs to our room. During that time, the receptionist charged his credit card for our stay. We called IHG to discuss the issue with them. They opened an IHG Case. They told us that the hotel should honor the booked rate and that they would contact the hotel and we should hear back within 30 minutes. We never received a call. So we called IHG back again and they contacted the hotel again and said we would received a call within 48 hours. We still received no call. We then opened a dispute with the Capital One Credit Card company. In their challenge to the credit card dispute, they said "Guest [insert my name here] sign registration card". This was a false statement since I would be "Guest [insert my name here]" and I did not sign the registration card. The receptionist checked in a "additional guest" of "Guest [insert my name here]." They also said "Guest prepaid reservation for 2 night." This was also a false statement. If the room was prepaid, then there would not have been an issue as there would be no change of rate for a room already paid for. All we wanted was to be charged the proper amount that I booked the reservation for or refunded the difference of the two charges but the hotel management refused to cooperate. We have tried to contact them multiple times to fix this issue and we have received no response. They are not honoring the rate we booked this room for. Be aware of this scam.

    Horrible experience!

    After a five hour drive we checked into this hotel needing a good nights sleep. There were two ladies at the front desk Helping one man. We waited for about ten frustrating minutes and they noticed we were becoming impatient so one of them came over to get us checked in. They were both extremely rude! We put our things in the room they assigned us and left for dinner. When we came back it was obvious there had been a wedding and we were hoping it was at the other end Of the hotel but as luck would have it they were all right above us. We were awakened at 10 oclock to loud yelling, pounding noise and cursing and verbally fighting at one point. We called the front desk and were told at 10:30 it would be quiet time. The noise continued and increased and at 11 oclock we called again and were told it would be taken care of. At 12:30 AM my son went down to the front desk And requested they change our room, which was at first denied by the front desk person and when my son insisted he did change our room. From what they told us they have events there frequently but they obviously do not control their guests. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel, that is unless you like to be kept up all night! We were going to stay for two nights but checked out the next morning, telling the front desk lady we had a very bad experience, and instead of questioning she nonchalantly said oh Im sorry. We checked into the hotel next-door which is newer, extremely friendly and Clean with the most comfortable bed and sofa which is not a fold out sofa with uncomfortable springs.
