    Lame Staff

    I attended a funeral on Oct 31st... After a very long day, I returned to my hotel. My key repeatedly failed. When I complained about the problem the Barney Fife looking black gentleman clerk went into a rage like he was on drugs. He asked me to leave, which I attempted to... But of course the replacement key didn't work... So I proceeded to pack my stuff. When I return to the lobby he has a taser in his shaking hand informing me he had contacted the local police ( for no apparent reason, but fear ). I was denied a refund by Holiday Inn and Snaptravel through which I booked the room.

    Horrible experience

    We stayed two nights and we paid 130 a night for a wirlpool room, the room wasnt very clean and their was holes in the walls, then the couple tht was in the room next to us were throwing each other at the wall and screaming all night.

    Horrible- DONT STAY HERE

    I called with enthusiasm, very excited to stay here. I had a cancelled flight so I wanted to stay near the airport. Initially, when I arrived, I was greeted with How can I help you?. The receptionist at the desk, Trey was rude and rushed during the entitled check in process. He didnt say Hello, How are you doing? or anything for that matter. He was very rushed and didnt even hand me my key in my hand. He slid it to me on the counter and practically bullied me into pulling out my card from the card reader while I was making a payment. To add fuel to the fire, TREY FAILED to tell me where my room was and what room I was in. He only told be where the elevators were. I get to my room, the clock and phone arent plugged in or working. I refuse to investigate bc of Covid. I dont want to touch unnecessary things. However, I had to use my personal cell phone to call the front office to speak with the manager who was just as RUDE AS TREY! The leadership is trash, thats why their employees attitudes and customer service is also. SAVE YOUR MONEY- the rooms look like something off a scary movie. Patronize ANOTHER hotel, the SHERATON, Homewood suites (next door), anywhere BUT here. If you still choose this death trap, dont say I didnt tell you so! Best luck in in dodging this dumb! Blessings

    Not interested...

    As soon as I walked in at 3:15pm on Thurs, 2/11/21, I felt like the front desk agent did not want me to stay there. I asked for a rate, told her my possible discounts and that I was a member of their loyalty program and she quotes me a rate $20 higher than everything I was seeing online (through multiple sites!) I told her the price I was seeing and showed her on my phone and she shrugged. I asked if she could get even close and she said no, the price was the price. So I left. I tried the Home Suites next door, who was just as indifferent and only had 1st floor rooms. So I decided to book online and came back to the Holiday Inn. Same person checked me in (no name tag) and gave me a room on the 4th floor. I had asked for a non-pet room because of allergies. I tried to give my loyalty number and she refused. Said no points since booked through 3rd party. I said I know but this has all my information etc. She said she didn't need it. Really made me feel valued as a loyalty member! Then she stated that they could not do breakfast at all because of covid rules. Everyone else has done something for breakfast, even if just a go bag. HI Express the previous night gave a go bag with yogurt and granola. But no, nothing at all at this property! Rooms were reliable, clean and comfortable beds. But I discovered that I was right next door to another guest (possibly the only other guest on that floor)! So could hear them all night. He left his bathroom fan on all night. I understand that at a hotel you are going to hear other people but when you are Maybe 50% full, how much effort does it take to spread your guests out. Every other room! Its not hard. Just seemed like no one cared at this property.

    Rude Staff and Refund of Deposit Refusal

    I rented a couple of rooms here in my pursuit of finding my own place, the rooms were big and clean (although I didn't inspect every nook and cranny). Upon check in I was looked at by the Manager (a woman who appears as if she looks down on anyone not in her tax bracket) as if I was a parasite she was forced to deal with. I booked the room through Priceline.com (Which I always did then) and everyone was COMPLETELY aware that I had my small, old, dog with me. I was never told that there was a pet fee. I was told there was $100 deposit that would be refunded to me upon check out, but instead, they charged me $175.00 for a "deep cleaning" fee and pet fees! The room was not only picked up before check out, I took out my own trash and there was no "accidents" from my dog either. When I confronted the Manager, she got ugly and rude and refused to give me the phone number to her boss. The staff here are a disgrace. I still HAVE NOT received the credit the owner promised to apply to my account. And on top of all of this, they charge full price for the rooms even though NONE of the amenities are allowed to be used due to COVID.
