  Unprofessionalism

  So my family and I stayed here checked in on 07/03 and checking out on 07/07. The staff was not friendly when we arrived, we are so use to the warm and friendly greeting upon arrival and throughout out stay. Housekeeping was ok on 07/04 and 07/05. On 07/06 my family and I went out for the entire day and came back at 11pm to no housekeeping, all the dirty towels on the ground, bed linens not change, bed not made, floors not clean, carpets not vacuumed. Bathroom floors not cleaned and all the dirty towels and washed clothed on floor, tub not clean. Called the front desk to report that their was no housekeeping done and no toilet paper in the bathroom and the lady at the front desk told me there was no one here for housekeeping and all the stuff that I need I should come downstairs from the 4th floor for clean towels and toilet paper. That was just so unprofessional and as a platinum ihg club member this is my first time in this situation. I would just like to inform the staff and management team they need to respect, care and well in order to have a dynamic and professional team and warm and friendly atmosphere.

  Terrible Service

  Terrible Service at the restaurant. Placed an order with a young girl who was nice enough but had trouble speaking english. The order was all wrong. She was very apologetic, and said she put a credit on file and I could order another mean another night. Came back to take advantage of the credit in good faith and the manager acted as if i was making the whole thing up and claimed he couldn't just give me food. I said ok who can we talk to, what can we do, can we check the account history, etc, etc. He just kept repeating that he can't give me a meal as if i'm some bum looking for a free meal. Food looked great, just wasn't what I had ordered. Managers name was Az. Talked to the front desk, and there was nothing they could do but take a message.

  Great value, good rooms

  Stayed here twice in a week to interrupt and AZ to FL drive and back. This is a good hotel that I would recommend. The suites are spacious with good amenities, and the price is right. I noticed that this hotel had far more cars in its parking lot than its neighboring hotels which I think says something. About the only negative I have is that the staff seem a little inexperienced but they are friendly and helpful. Recommended property.

  Clean rooms

  This is the second time we have spent the weekend here. It has a very well lit parking lot giving one peace of mind that someone will not be messing with your vehicle. Additionally cameras are covering the parking lot. We stayed in room 403, very clean and roomy with a king size bed.

  So disappointing

  We are in Houston for a baseball tournament. I had a reservation at the holiday inn katy mills with the rest of the team, but I called to confirm all was good and was told they cancelled it due to being unable to reach me. That would have been fine had anyone actually called me! I had zero voicemails or missed numbers on my phone. She proceeded to get rude when I pointed that out; I was told they could reinstate, but only a single bed (which we can't use). No thanks. We usually love Holiday Inn; this is a huge disappointment.
