  Nice hotel

  Very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly. Rooms comfortable and clean. Nice location..very close to everything. Beds were very comfortable also. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

  Dirty

  Needs to be updated...every part of the hotel. It's gross. I had to buy bleach wipes and scrub the bathroom before anybody used it. It is very close to the convention center (walking distance), which is why we stayed here...plus the other hotels were full.

  Very Nice Stay

  I thought this Holiday Inn looked relatively new. It was clean. The front desk staff wqas excellent, very freindly, smiley, greeted you in and out. Very nice! Room was clean, spacious, quiet. Bed was comfortable. I would stay here again to visit my son at ECU. Restaurant was closed due to COVID.

  Okay trip - Couldnt connect to internet

  Hotel is a little older but super convenient to the hospital and downtown. Lobby, elevators and breakfast area are a little congested with foot traffic, something to consider these days. Room was okay, a little dark and I couldnt connect to the internet at all on my laptop, though seemed to do okay with portable devices. Not bad but for a similar price you can stay across the street at the Fairfield which I found much better for my needs.

  Ripoff at the door

  I paid in full for my reservation, then went to check in, and the front desk personnel tried to get me to pay an additional $19 per night to cover local occupancy taxes. All hotels pay occupancy taxes, and these are always included in the room charge when you book. In this case, Holiday inn of Greenville is using these taxes as an excuse to rip you off at the door. Don't fall for it, book elsewhere.
