  Normal sin pretensiones ni grandes expectativas.

  Hotel situado en la periferia de Glasgow, la línea de autobús tiene una parada desde la puerta del hotel hasta la estación de tren en el centro de Glasgow. El hotel es funcional,desayuno normal y aceptable, la línea de internet no es destacable.

  Normal para ser un Holiday Inn

  Cuando llegamos no habia nadie en la recepcion, estuvimos esperando 15 minutos hasta que aparecio una perosna. Nevaba fuera y no podiamos ir a buscar otro hotel siendo las 2am! Ya estabamos ahi. Nos quedamos una noche solamente

  Great experience

  Attended a small family event here on 12th September to celebrate my granddaughters first holy communion. Can't praise the two staff members who looked after us enough. Claire ushered us in to the function room, made sure we had everything we required and explained the hotel's process regarding Covid to all who arrived. The afternoon went without a hitch, the food, which was lovely and plentiful, was served by Claire and Nathan as was any drinks ordered via the app. We stayed overnight and booked a swim session the following morning, this was also very well organized with a limited number of people in the pool. All in all this was a great experience and I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. With very special thanks also to Claire and Nathan.

  Just What We Needed

  Stayed here with my 5 yr old son on 3rd Oct for an overnight and it was great from start to finish. Clare took our booking and sorted slots to access the pool on both days which was our main reason for choosing this hotel and my son loved it. Upon arrival you could clearly see safety measures and systems where in place to give you confidence but not over bearing. Our room was amazing, exceptionally clean plenty of space, with everything you would need and more. This was the first time we had used a pool in six months so was a key moment. We choose to ate at their restaurant for dinner even though there are lots of eating places close by. Staff were so attentive and helpful we even met the chefs, nothing was a bother to them. Pizza was sublime thinly cooked to perfection. Breakfast next morning was good too. I have to say the whole thing was value for money having done a number of hotel visits with my son at Edinburgh and Glasgow much to our disappointment. I would strongly recommend a visit here you won't regret it and it will certainly blow away the covid blues and the kids will love the pool.

  Poor accomodation and value

  Lets start with the good points at least the room was there when we checked-in, ate in restaurant and was served by Mark who was very good and did a great job, food was okay for fish and chips but overpriced along with the drinks. Our room 105 King Executive with breakfast, was tatty and poorly maintained, shower cubicle with black mold in corners, toilet roll holder dangling from wall, paint drips over the toilet floor and the door looked as if it was painted by the child of the apprentice. In the main room scuffs on walls and a large crack on one of the walls. It is obvious that this room has never been checked properly but happy to let it out for a two day booking. To top it all we had a lovely view of the flyover, roof of the hotel and the sound of traffic in the morning to gently help us waken up. As for breakfast it was slop as has been stated by other reviews probably the worst I have had in years, poached eggs were so poorly done it was criminal. I suppose we were luck to get any breakfast as we were late, but the lack of quality was shocking. During checking in we were given a letter stating changes to procedures during covid restrictions, in this letter was revised breakfast times. In most hotels I have stayed in your are reminded of breakfast timings verbally as a courtesy, especially if it deviates from the website, we were not. Will not be staying there again when visiting family, better options and value in other hotels.
