    Passing through needed a place for one night couldn't find any 4 or 5 star hotels so I got stuck with this and wasn't at

    I own a cleaning business so I'm probably the worst hotel customer ever. Im a nightmare for these chain hotels. I spend the money to stay at 4 and 5 star hotel to not have any cleanliness issues but I always find dirty air vents, hair on the bathroom floors or sweaty smelling pillow cases. Never the less if I pay for a 2 or 3 star I can't complain so I opt for the nicer ones that I can demand better quality accommodations. I got stuck, I was tired and driving through a small town in KY outside of Cincinnati and I couldn't find anything above a 3 star close by unless I back tracked so I stayed here at a 3 star figuring what the hell its just for one night. I couldn't believe how clean it was. The pillowcases and sheets (which is my pet peeve by the way) smelled so fresh and clean. The room looked as if I came in and cleaned it with my team and we are a 5 star cleaning service. I can't believe this particular hotel really surprised me. I might opt for Holiday Inns from now on. The cleaning crew here all deserve raises. Especially with CoVid looming all around us I felt really safe. I brought in a canister of Clorox wipes and never used them kudos to this Holiday inns cleaning team. I intend to stop in the morning to talk to someone.

    Reports more important than guests needs

    Reserved king size bed but received 2 dbls. When I questioned why, her response was that since reservation was thru hotels.com they can't guarantee what room they have. (I reserved this 2 weeks in advance). We checked in maybe 30-45 minutes which cause raised eyebrows. Room was clean. Onsite guest laundy dirty and needs replacement. They are renovating hotel. Asked for ice machine, front desk referred us to bartender who was slightly surprised by request for ice but filled our bucket. The next day I asked another front desk employee who directed us to 4th floor for ice machine. Due to COVID there is no daily housekeeping. We ran out of toilet paper. I asked at front desk - they didn't have any so I said I'll stop by later after dinner. Husband went down 2 hours later and same employee vaguely remembers conversation and did not get any for us. Husband asked for a roll and was told that she could not leave desk and had reports to do. He had to restate we have NONE and does he have to go out and buy a roll. She then called someone to bring us a roll. Lack of knowledge/willingness to help at front desk will result in me never staying here again.

    Yuck

    I stayed here with my husband and two toddlers. The room was dirty. Food was left in the fridge. The tub didnt drain. There was a dirty pair of socks left by the bed. They have signs in the hotel that they are sanitizing more but the room was gross. The sign also says if youre unhappy theyll make it right. The employee at the front desk stated she couldnt do anything when I informed her of these issues. I attached a picture of the socks.

    Very Disappointing for Holiday Inn

    First, I made reservations for 2 rooms, 3 weeks in advance when checked in, clerk says sorry only one is ready. Asked when both will be ready, clerk says we can text you, we have had issues. After about 30 minutes they gave a room that was on floor below. Then you have to ask for room service due to COVID they said, they don't automatically do anymore. Lounge was okay, but had a new bartender and she was swamped with no help, had to wait to pay for about 10 minutes. Rooms are just okay, not my idea for a Holiday Inn. Highway noise loud on backside. Customer Service is poor, just was not up to par for this chain, I will think twice about booking Holiday Inn brand again.

    Perfect!

    We stayed here two nights and it was awesome. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a hot breakfast! I am not sure why the reviews are so low? but I would highly recommend this hotel you will love it.
