  Great Stay at Holiday Inn Express North

  I had a great stay with a group of friends at this hotel for three nights. I stayed in a twin room with one of my sons and the room was very nice during our stay. Check-in was easy and quick. We stayed in a twin room on the 18th floor. The beds were comfortable and we had the extra pillows that I had requested. The wifi and AC worked well. The self-service laundry was easy to use but we did need to get tokens from the front desk for 20 RMB each. Breakfast was great and the options changed daily (both western and Chinese.) The location is close to Xi'an North Train station and was easy to get to by taxi when we arrived. The hotel is attached to a newer mall and had plenty of options for dining at the food court and restaurants inside. We took the subway back to the train station when we left. It was pouring rain at the time, but the subway was easy to get to through the mall. Our guide during our stay in Xi'an was able to easily pick us up and drop us off at the hotel each day as we explored the city. The hotel is not in the city center, but we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when visiting Xi'an.

  Lovely hotel

  This was a wonderful hotel that I would definitely stay at again. Rooms were clean and smelled good. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well. Nice location near a mall and lots of shopping Overall a very nice hotel.

  Great new hotel near the high speed train station

  The hotel is located in a north and modern area of the city. The room is very large and modern for a superior room. You can see a great view from the room. It is located next to a shopping centre and 3 minutes from the nearest metro station. You can get around by metro to all major tourist attractions in Xian. The high speed train station is just 3 station away. The city centre is around 15min away. The breakfast is just average but the seating area is very limited during peak hour. You have to share table with other people. Overall, its a great new hotel.

  Hotel with excellent service

  This hotel may seem rather basic on the surface but where its amenities fails to shine, its exemplary service is a gem to tourists. The service provided was excellent, this is a hotel where the staff clearly takes pride in their job. They were helpful, sincere, informative and were able to provide us with useful information and directions. We interacted with various service staff and found that the service rendered by all of them was consistent across the board. We would like to give our sincerest thanks to the staff there who left us with a wonderful impression of the people of XiAn.

  One night stay

  Stayed here recently for one night. We arrived by train from Beijing. The taxi driver spoke no English at all, I had google translated the address before and showed it him but he still could not understand! We found the hotel by luck at 11:30 at night. The gentleman on reception was very nice and his English was good. We asked if he could arrange to organise us a taxi and guide for the following day to take us to the Terracotta Warriors. Even though it was now midnight he organised it and it was amazing. Our room was clean and breakfast was okay. Its a shame we couldnt have stayed longer but we were heading to Shanghai!
