  Very nice hotel, though a bit noisy.

  The hotel itself was very nice. They are renovating, but it did not cause any problems for us during our stay whatsoever. However, the noise was a bit overboard. There were some gentlemen outside in the parking lot having a conversation and we could hear them in our room, which was on the 2nd floor. The room was nice and comfortable, very clean. The bedding was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good. The staff was VERY friendly!!!

  With Major Rennovations, It is Difficult to Say

  As I stayed here while they were undergoing major renovations, it is not possible to give the hotel a proper evaluation that would apply to normal conditions but I will summarize my say nonetheless. While there was no noise directly related to the construction to disturb me, it was impossible to miss the areas under renovation and not all facilities were available. I had requested a room on the upper floor but due to the limited number of rooms available during the renovation, I had to settle for a room on the second floor directly above the lobby. Being above the lobby did not result in any disturbance but I was awakened, and kept awake for about 45 minutes, at 3am, by one of the many construction personal staying at the hotel who stayed in the room above me as he got ready and packed-up. Otherwise, the room I stayed in was spacious and quite comfortable. The complimentary breakfast, served in the meeting room rather than the breakfast room which was under renovations, was very good and among the best I can remember having at the dozens of Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed at. The employee at the front desk checking me in was not particularly friendly or efficient and when I asked for a recommendation for dinner, I was directed to a restaurant in town that turned out to be closed on the night of the week I was staying so I ended up eating at one of the fast food restaurants nearby.

  I hate liars!!! This place is a nightmare.

  Lets see.....we checked in at 4am. The desk person was a bumbling idiot. I told him that the credit card on file was not the card we were using. He charged it anyway and drained my bank account. Then....we get up to the 3rd floor and the horrid stench of.cat urine smacks us in the face. I have asthma and had a lung cancer survivor with me, we both got short of breath immediately. Got in the room....looked nice, was brand new. We get ready for bed and notice the light on top of the cabinet that there is NO switch for. (When I called to make the reservation I was told that there were NO suites). Low and behold, all of a sudden theres a suite available. Gee? We were told it was newly renovated. Lol. Not likely. There were holes in the bathroom wall, the couch was busted, the shower full of soap scum. Gross. And its still my first hour. Lol. Friday I went and spoke with Haley at the front desk (more like the broom closet they are using for a front desk). I told her everything that had happened in the previous 5 hours. She sweetly offered to Comp my stay. Ok. That was acceptable. Guess what? Got charged 250 upon check out. Still havent seen a credit. Also, the house keeper sucked. Since when is towels the only thing you clean in a room? Never made our beds, took the trash or wiped anything down. Again....gross. There was a piece of paper on the floor in the hall....for 3 days!!! And spilled coffee in the elevator that was NEVER mopped up our whole stay. BEWARE. Stay in Grenada. This place is a rat hole.

  Excellent experience!

  I stayed in a 2 queen rm in late May. Property was easy to get to off the interstate. The hotel lobby and dining area was very clean and inviting, even during the breakfast rush the next day. Staff was friendly and attentive. There is a small Convenience store in the lobby that sells sodas, snacks, candy bars, and toiletries at reasonable prices, cheaper than buying in a store. The hotel room was clean and had a fresh smell to it, Lots of room and storage space available. Nice, size television with a good selection of local and movie channels. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows (4) on each bed. Linens were clean and fresh smelling. bathroom was spacious and very clean with the usual amenities and plenty of towels. Overall, a great place to stay and will definitely stay again if in the area again.

  Paper thin Wall, Apathetic Staff

  If you are hard of hearing this place is fine, but if you want to hear every single noise through the paper thin walls, including bodily functions this is the place for you. There was a drunk guest in a room beside me on his cellphone and had his tv on loud till midnight, the guest on the other side had his on as well and the walls are so thin that I could hear conversations and what they were watching on tv. You can clearly hear coughing, hacking as if they are in the room with you, terrible. Asked to change rooms and was told no. At about 4:30 AM the pipe in the ceiling above me was popping when water was being used by a guest. Never again will I stay here.
