    Great Stay

Only spent one night here but definitely would stay again. Nice clean room, comfy bed and great staff. The front desk was great about answering all our questions regarding visiting the Sequoia National Park and suggestions for where to pick up dinner. The women handling breakfast was very friendly. She got our order right away and suggested that we could take our breakfast sandwiches with us for our trip to the parks, Thanks to all the staff for a great stay.

    Friendliest employees Cindy, Crystal, Corinna

I stayed at the Holiday Inn express in Visalia, CA and All the employees (Cindy, Corrina and crystal) were so nice and helpful for anything I asked about whether it was great local taco places, or checking out local sites in the sequoia Natl Park after work! Again, Cindy, Crystal and Corrina were the best they were very friendly and helpful!! really on top of their game especially when it comes to making sure they enforce the CDC Guidelines to keep preventative measures in line. I really wish there was more people like them at all the holiday inns I go to because I travel for work and stay with holiday inn everywhere I go to rack up my points! ;) so if you ever go to Visalia, CA for Work, Family or see the incredible surrounding Sequoia National Forest, Cindy, Corinna, and Crystal will make your stay the most memorable from any other Holiday INN I can promise you that!

    Your Satisfaction is Guaranteed!

Unexpectedly got caught in Central California due to a snow storm over the Grapevine. Thousands upon thousands of travelers found themselves scurrying to find a hotel room. Enter Holiday Inn Express... Conveniently located off HWY 198 on the outskirts of Visalia. We arrived at approximately 3:00 pm for a walk-in. i had no reservation, so it was a gamble if id get a room. Check-in was incredible. A nice young gentleman got my information, plugged me into the computer, asked my floor preference. Everything was very simple and to the point. I ran up to my room for a quick inspection and found the room to be very modern in design with very comfy beds. No balcony, no tub, no luxury, but clean and comfortable. We left the property to find dinner before we retreated for the evening. Upon returning, around 6 pm, we found the Holiday Inn filled up with many more guests than we had seen earlier, it appears a lot of folks got stuck in the central valley because of the snow storm. Exhausted, i decided to take a shower to wash off the travel stress. The bathroom features a combo shower/tub (which i hate) with soap dispensers affixed to the wall (which i also hate). i turned on the hot water but it was ice cold. i decided to let the water run for a while but as the minutes went by... five minutes... ten minutes... thirty minutes... the shower would not get hot. an hour went by and the water was still not hot. It was 30 degrees outside, so it was a very cold evening. i had to be rational, obviously nobody is taking a shower right now and the pipes are struggling to get me hot water to the third floor... i took a shower in lukewarm water that would occasionally spike with cold or hot water. that wasnt the worst part, my soap dispensers ran out of conditioner and body wash, which is never any fun when youre in the middle of a shower. Exhausted from the shower, i got in bed. The beds are amazing... like SUPER AMAZING. We could hear the occupants upstairs, footsteps here and there, even a loud jump or bang, but the last thing i want to do is pick up that phone and complain to the desk.. so i went to sleep. woke up super early as i usually do so i decided to get some breakfast downstairs. i met a lovely attendant down there where she helped me identify that they had very limited fresh food or meatless options. i ended up with a chocolate muffin and two brown bananas. Upon checkout, the front desk staff asked me how my stay went. I quietly said, unremarkable which took all of us into the tale of my cold water shower and soap less bathing, followed by an onslaught of apologies from the staff. Why didnt you call the front desk...? We couldve done so many things to make sure you were comfortable. We had many empty rooms next to you and couldve moved you. I was sincerely shocked and grateful. I told the girls, thank you for hearing my concerns and attempting to make my visit a satisfactory one. I was so exhausted the last thing i had on my mind was moving rooms or calling the desk. All that i wanted was a hot shower and a bed. We experienced a few minor hiccups, but i would highly recommend this location for value and service. The grounds are clean, the staff are attentive, and you have access to a front desk staff that will ensure you have a satisfactory stay. I recommend a high floor and that you keep in contact with the front desk if you have any problems. Again, these were minor hiccups on my stay, albeit an inconvenience, but the open communication with the staff was a giant leap towards correcting any issue i had. Thank You all!

    Stay here

I had a wonderful stay. Here for work. First time staying in Visalia. Heard theres not much to do here, but Corina guided me to the Sequoia National park for my day off. I had a great time there and its close by. They really care, Corina on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday saw me running through the lobby to get to work and stopped me to make sure I got some Breakfast in the morning and didnt forget. They have a warm breakfast not like the other hotels Ive been to who just have bags. Great stay overall. I will continue to stay.
