  Breakfast was horrible

  Ok for Holiday Inn standards, clean, good parking space but breakfast was horrible sorry to say. Turkey sausage tasted like cardboard. Room was good and clean. I would NOT recommend the Applebees next door. Maybe the Logans would be better.

  Could have been much better

  So we stayed at a holiday inn express in Columbus Indiana the night before and had such a great experience , we sought out the same for last night . First the good, the hotel clerk who checked us in was super friendly and welcoming . Our room was nice and clean although it had a weird smell ... not musty or dirty ... just like air freshener or something ? Now the bad , most the employees from the housekeepers to the laundry attendant to the lady serving breakfast were not wearing their masks !!! Either dangling from her ear or none at all . When the dining room Was full she did put it on . At 900 when I went to get coffee it was empty ... she did fill It up right away though . Breakfast at 9:15 .... out of eggs , out of biscuits .... basically there was sausage gravy with nothing to put it on and sausage links . And she said due to the time that is all there would be ! If you know how many guests you have , you should prepare enough . For the price we paid , we wont go back . Nothing like the holiday inn the night before !

  Comfortable, Clean

  Traveling south we stopped for the night here after seeing the good reviews and value. We were very pleased with location off interstate. Room was large, clean and with sink on outside of bathroom nice for 2 guest. Breakfast in the morning was very decent considering they had to be limited due to COVID. It was a very good stay.

  Mostly Very Good

  The good: location (right off I-75), clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, friendly staff all wearing masks, decent breakfast for COVID times (better than most weve been to during the pandemic). The less good: refrigerator was small, old, and missing racks to hold food in door. The toilet was extremely low, like one from an elementary school bathroom. Would stay here again.

  Our overnight stay was good and Miss Betty who was serving us breakfast was very hospitable and very friendly with all of her morning guests. Shes an asset to the hotel! All the help were also very friendly and helpful. Carrie was our check in clerk and was very informative. The maintenance man was so polite and open the door for us because he saw that we had our hands full and greeted us with thanks for staying with us and have a nice day , but I didnt catch his name He also greeted us when turning in the keys and asked if we needed a receipt or anything else. Great staff , you should be proud. Thank you,WB
