  Everything you'd expect from a Holiday Inn

  Stayed on the 17th floor, everything was clean, the staff were helpful and attentive. Breakfast had a good range of items. It is located in a large shopping center which is convenient. It is a short walk to the metro system, probably takes about 30 minutes to get into the center of the ancient town. It isn't perfect, but it is a good choice for an easy, no-fuss stay.

  Not for the western visitors this one.

  Ok let's start, room as you would expect from a new hix except zero western tv channels and no in room fridge. Breakfast is Chinese only and staff are poorly trained and innatentive , items not replaced , food cold , tables slow to clear. It's not then it's clearly the lack of training and management support. Check out a disaster as the card reader failed and blocked my mastercard requiring lengthy calls to BOA to unblock. Was told by desk girl it must be my fault !! 1 desk assistant with at least 10 people waiting, manager in the black suit looking at her phone before disappearing into the office rather than help . Spire elite member offered a drink at reception as a members free gift .. can of coke or sprite. Infuriatingly slow elevator system , plan ahead as you may have a long wait . Location next to a good shopping mall with some good eating places thankfully. Can reccomend the buffet at the nearby Shangri la hotel. Metro line suzhou amusement park 10 minute walk , 20 minutes or so to jin ji lake. Has a self service laundry room washers drivers and ironing available for a small fee . This traveller won't be revisiting that's for sure as it's really not as expected from a global brand. Maybe sell it to Hanting or something??? Poor.

  Just like home

  Second time returning to this hotel. Very relaxing. And close to mall for dinner. But still has smell in the room. Keep good working. Nice breakfast also. Fully AC, no smoke smell, very good. See you next time.

  Great service, great breakfast, great location!

  We stayed for 9 days with a group at this hotel--and it met our needs beautifully! The facilities are new and clean, the breakfast buffet was great (delicious handmade wonton soup!), and the service was great all around. The staff went out of the way to meet our needs--including offering cold drinks upon arrival, helping us figure out the laundry facilities, helping us with directions, giving us hangout space, and keeping our rooms clean. The location is really great--it sits atop a beautiful mall with lots of dining and shopping options and it's close to the subway line, which is easy to use. We loved our stay and recommend this hotel!
