  Amazing Staff!

  The hotel itself is average but the staff bumped it up to 4 stars. They were helpful and so friendly from the front desk to housekeeping to the ladies serving breakfast. The hotel was clean. The bed was like a rock and incredibly uncomfortable which led to a less than restful night. Our room was on the back so we were away from the interstate noise that others have complained about. They have many COVID practices in place. You preorder breakfast and the time you will get it and they have it all boxed up and ready for you to grab and take back to your room. Very easy. Overall, it was clean and safe but the staff made the hotel above average for sure.

  Clean and Friendly

  Stayed one night on our way through AR. Hotel was extremely clean, staff was friendly, and area felt safe. Given COVID, there were a few let downs but honestly nothing that wasnt expected. Breakfast wasnt the same and while thats not a huge deal, when traveling in a budget it can matter. Overall excellent and would stay again.

  Dirty and Noisey

  The lady at the front desk was helpful and polite. And the bed was super comfortable. Now the negatives...first, we were put in a room right beside the elevator. It's not like we checked in at midnight and the hotel wasn't full so that always sucks. There were stains on the walls and hair on the toilet. The shower door was off track or something. It was practically impossible to close once inside. Very disappointing considering the price for this room. Also, this hotel is right beside the interstate. You will hear the traffic all night long. I would not stay here again.

  Just OK

  It was just OK. Pros: Comfortable beds; appeared decently clean. Cons: Stained carpeting, old contact lens stuck to the bathroom floor, tub grouting a little grungy, one of the bath towels was thinner and discolored, one of the 3 clothing hooks was missing/torn off the wall; battery cover on the TV remote was missing. Booked a King room and when checked in asked for a room on the other side of the hotel from the highway (based on other reviews saying that rooms on that side are noisy). Was informed that all Kings room are on the highway side and that 2 Q rooms are on the other side. So I said fine we'll take a 2Q room. Then she tells me that it will be more expensive (despite the fact that I'm an IHG club member). Breakfast was handled via a form turned in the night before with your requests and pickup time. However, still had to wait for them to put the bag together in the morning when went to pick up AND no bananas :-( Area that the hotel was in did not have a lot of restaurant options although downtown Memphis is a pretty short drive away.

  Very noisy

  If your room is on the side of the interstate, be prepared for a noisy night. The hotel is about 150 ft away from the interstate and its noisy through the night. We normally enjoy our stays at Holiday Inn Express but this was not a comfortable room.
