    Cleanest hotel ever!

    We stayed here one night as a stopover in Florida. We picked it because we are ihg loyalty members and it was convenient. If you need to stop, pick this hotel for sure. When we walked in the place was spotless. We actually thought this hotel was brand new. It didnt look like anyone had ever been in it. We were surprised to learn it was 3 years old. I know thats new in hotel years but now we know they must have spent the corona shutdown scrubbing the place. We are now at a hotel in Venice FL and trust me, I got out the wipes at this place.

    Dirty rooms !

    Our two night stay was absolutely atrocious. We went to 3 different rooms because all of them were disgusting and NOT cleaned right at all! The lady Jackie up front was very nice about the situation and accommodating. I know shes not the one cleaning the rooms but she did offer to come personally clean the last room we were in. However, with everything going on (COVID) they should be taking extreme measures to make sure EVERY single room is spotless, disinfected and CLEAN! And it was not! This morning we called for a late check out because my hubby is playing in the hockey tournament, and has a game at 1. We couldnt receive our late check out and the day time lady upfront was EXTREMELY RUDE WILL NEVER RETURN

    Mostly Disappointed

    breakfast: good building: new staff: nice room: Upon arrival it seemed nice and new feeling. However, going into the bathroom there was hair all over the floor and a few in the shower. The bathroom counter had a crusty spot of something. We are not one to make trouble, but it was too much for us to overlook. With COVID-19 going on, I didn't feel that bathroom had even been touched. We went back to the lobby and asked for a different room. They apologized and graciously gave us a new room. The bathroom was better in the room, but still a few hairs and the fridge had leftover crumbs in it with a spill. By this time it was past 1am and we decided to just deal with it for the night. I will not be coming back based on lack of attention to basic cleanliness.

    Worst Checkin

    Terrible welcome. Poor customer service. Poor signage for entrance from street and interstate. Many other properties in the area to consider. After traveling a long day one would hope for a warm welcome

    Poor customer service

    Im a IHG employee myself and the property itself is nice but the customer service at this hotel is just terrible. 1. No one will ever answer the phone I called back to back for literally 1 whole hour and the guest service representative didnt even have common decency to answer and say please hold they just allowed the phone to ring. 2. Durning check-in she did not go over any details of the hotel she gave me a piece of paper and said sign and handed me the room keys and plus on top of that i was standing in front of the guest representative starring at her for 3 minutes before I was acknowledge. 4. When I finally did get the guest service representative to answer after many calls i was sitting in the hotel parking lot inquiring about a early checkin around 1pm she said no its not possible and hung up on me before I was able to speak seconds after that I walked in the hotel and it was the same lady and she checked me in . But didnt she just say early check-in is not possible? So she lied she didnt even ask for my name to check if the room type was available she automatically said no. As a IHG employee this was very disappointing to see other then that the room was great but clearly you need a little more training when it comes to dealing with guest!
