  Not clean and unresponsive employees.

  Stayed two nights in room 105, Oct 6th & 7th. Carpet in room not vacuumed and bathroom toilet and shower not clean. Additionally, no facial tissues or toilet paper available. I had to get those items from the front desk. On Monday morning I complained about the dirty carpets and bathroom cleanliness to the front desk person. Upon my return Monday evening, nothing had been cleaned or vacuumed! And to think they charged $154.00 a night before taxes. Never again!!

  Friendly smiles and cozy room!

  Great inexpensive place to stay while we met friends at Louisiana Tech University. Homecoming weekend we had a great time at several events. Came home to a very friendly and all smiles staff who greeted us warmly and genuinely all the time. Rooms were clean and cozy and my wife and I were very comfortable and relaxed. The hotel is boutiquey with a splash of modern and vintage decor that was charming and fun to look at. This is a perfect stopover or weekend place to lay your head while exploring all this area has to offer.

  Quick, clean, and comfy

  Shout out to Miss Charlotte, the hotel receptionist on duty upon my arrival. Her civility really won me over. She greeted me with a smile that shined through her mask. She was very thorough in making sure I knew what amenities her hotel had to offer, and she made sure I knew where to go or who to call if I experienced a problem during my stay. I walked into a suite that was spacious and clean. So far my needs and expectations have been met. Thank you again Miss Charlotte for your professionalism.

  Poor experience all around

  Booked a king suite for 3 nights in January 2021. We had traveled a long distance the day of arrival and checked in after midnight. The suite consisted of a king bed and a full-size pull out sofa bed. When we went upstairs to the room, right away we notice there are no linens for the sofa bed. Not a problem; I went back downstairs and asked for the linens for the bed. The customer service employee seemed put off by my request, but she went to another room and brought me back a wad of linens. I then asked about pillows for the sofa bed. She replied "pillows don't come with it". I'm not sure what that means, but she rented us a room for 3 adults so we definitely need pillows to accommodate 3 adults. She brought me back two pillows and piled them on top of the wad of linens she had given me a few minutes earlier. Oh well, at least we will be able to make the bed. I made the trek back upstairs only to discover there is NO toilet paper in the room. NONE. I go back downstairs and she begrudgingly gives me a roll of toilet paper. I don't understand the need to approach me with an attitude at every turn. It just makes your entire hotel chain look bad. The room was not clean to the standards we are accustomed to. There were sticky spots and stains on the carpet. The window shade was broken. Half of the bulbs were out in the bathroom. The furniture was worn and in need of being replaced. The refrigerator had a very bad smell inside. And the linens for the sofa bed were for a king size bed; the sofa bed is full size so that is definitely not comfortable to sleep on. On the last morning of our stay, housekeeping banged on our door at 8am, when checkout time is 11am. We witnessed absolutely no extra cleaning precautions due to the pandemic.

  Horrible Experience - Funeral

  We stayed here a little over two years ago as well and loved the area, the hotel itself and the price. What we didnt like was housekeeping stealing from us before we had even checked out. We got those items back that were stolen that time and let it go. Well we had a funeral to go to for a family member on Saturday the 13th and decided to try this place out again and wouldnt you know it, they stole again. Only this time we had to check out and leave for the funeral immediately and couldnt come straight back after checking out. I called as soon as I realized, told them the room number and they they hadnt started cleaning it yet when we left and that we had a funeral we were about to walk into. The gentleman I talked to said he would go look and call me back. I never heard from him or anyone else so I called after the funeral was over and told them we were on our way back to pick up our item. They said it was never found and havent tried to do anything about it because their policy is that if its lost or stolen on their property its not their problem. So ! Even though the hotel is great and the breakfast is great and the location and price.. housekeeping will steal from you any chance they get. So make sure you TRIPLE check your things. What I forgot was incredibly, and deeply sentimental to me and my family and can never be replaced. I wanted it with me though since we were attending a funeral and I deeply regret my choice. Before you check out, leave one person in the room at all times until youre completely sure youve got everything. They will not help you and will be rude the whole time. Lovely option or not, we will never stay here again. Second terrible experience and of course it happened when we came for a funeral so it just made it that much worse. RIP S.S.B.
