  Late night football

  This location is perfectly located on the river. Nice walk out balcony view of the river and old town of rockfalls. Perfect staff and very clean hotel!!! I rate this HIE top of the chains list. Very quiet hotel A+ Thank you again to the front desk clerk.

  Excellent stay for 3 generations

  My mother, myself, and my 2 children stayed here. We originally booked a hotel in Dixon, but decided not to stay once we learned the pool was closed for maintenance. So glad we went with the Holiday Inn in RF. The entire place was spotlessly clean and smelled great. Every staff member we encountered was professional and extremely friendly. We lucked out and stayed a night when they had a free happy hour with cocktails and appetizers. Bonus points for free wine! The beds were comfortable and the room was quite large. My kids had the whole pool to themselves and enjoyed their swim. Plenty of pool towels. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best Ive ever had a hotel. They had a great selection and everything was fresh. The only negative was that a piece on our toilet broke late at night. These things happen. The staff was very willing to come check on it but the toilet functioned fine and I was ready to put my children to bed. I grew up in this area and was skeptical about the Rock River view, but it was actually pretty cool! Thanks Holiday Inn. This is definitely where well stay for all future visits to the area.

  An Outstanding Hotel Experience

  My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Rock Falls for two nights in preparation for my wife's father's funeral. The hotel is in a wonderful location on the Rock River near the center of the city and many restaurants and different businesses. Our suite was excellent !!! We really admire the hotel's policy to deal with the Corona Virus. The breakfast was also included with our room. The entire staff was outstanding!!!!!!!! We highly recommend the hotel.

  A Wonderful Stay

  We really enjoyed our stay for one night. I felt they took COVID-19 seriously, but Im glad they still allowed us to use the pool (we had to check in first to limit capacity & then they cleaned afterward). Also, I was thrilled that they brought back their full breakfast, including the wonderful cinnamon rolls! They had a server provide you the hot items so you didnt have 100 people all grabbing the same items. The people that all worked there were very friendly as well. I believe it is a newer hotel and we liked our room and the foldout table. The only minor complaint was that the walls may not have been that thick, as we could hear kids talking next door, well after midnight. Thankfully, we were so exhausted from a busy day it didnt really impact us. Outside the hotel is a nice walking trail along the river and you can cross the bridge as well. The hotel had a decent amount of people in it so thats a good sign as well. Overall we are happy and would definitely come back if in the area!

  Very Nice

  This hotel is very nice. It is clean and staff is friendly. Our suite had a private balcony on the river. Bathroom has a very nice shower with great lighting. Many outlets throughout room for charging various devices. Large fridge for food/drinks storage and microwave. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. Very good breakfast. We didnt have time to visit pool or workout room. Lobby is also nice with many areas to sit. My only issue is they do not have your typical hotel suites. We booked a suite, but their version is basically a slightly larger room with a small sofa and table. A 1/4 wall separated the sofa and table. Theres no separate room of any sort. We usually get a suite so our kids can go to bed earlier or later than us and we dont disturb each other. We would definitely stay again and now wont be surprised at the difference.
