  Good place to stay

  Very clean and tidy hotel. Very helpful staff, good rooms and facilities. Reasonable breakfast. Good parking and good places to eat close by. Easy to find and very close by airport but not noisy. Excellent for what I needed for early start next day for business visit and then flight.

  Great place to relax before and after a long trip through Oregon!

  We stayed here before we embarked on our 14-day trip through Oregon, as well as after! It was exactly what we needed. Comfortable beds, plenty of food delivery nearby and lots of shampoo/conditioner (love that they have the big bottles in the shower now). The free shuttle to and from the airport was also very convenient.

  Amazing staff! Most helpful Ive ever met!

  We were in a stressful situation when staying here and the staff truly when above and beyond to make us as comfortable as possible and were as helpful as anyone couldve been! Even more so! Our flight out was canceled and we ended up having to stay longer than planned and it was such a nightmare - but the staff really made up for it! They even let us have a late late checkout which worked out so perfectly for our eventual flight schedule! The check in process was seamless, quick and simple. The 2 queen bed room was spotless and spacious and very comfortable! The beds were great! Soft but not too soft and tons of pillows with different levels of softness to choose from. Bathroom had plenty of room to store all the toiletries and even had a small bench in the shower. There was also a keurig for coffee, a fridge and microwave too! The breakfast was a little lackluster...a simple grab-and-go offering but included cereal and milk and some lemon cake and other items so a little better than most hotels offer nowadays. And they have coffee and hot water for tea 24/7 in the lobby which is so awesome! Now for their shuttle service - not only did they do perfectly getting us to the airport on time/as scheduled but they even came and picked me up near the airport after I dropped of my rental car - and I didnt even have to wait long at all! Totally saved me an Uber ride! And the staff always seemed happy to help in any way! I really wish I had gotten the name of the lovely man helping us bc he went above and beyond!

  nice enough, but some things need work

  This hotel was very near the airport. maybe too near. check in was easy, but i quickly learned i had been given the wrong room. I didnt even go in and it was quickly fixed. I had really looked forward to a relaxing swim and workout (no reason not too since the previous 2 Holiday Inn Expresses within 200 miles from here both were open). WRONG. both were closed. Then we were informed that there was no breakfast. just granola bars and yogurt. since I was going to be spending the entire day in airport lines and on planes which also serve no food I was not very happy. The room itself was fine. It appeared very clean The room lighting was good and there were enough outlets. However ALL the USB ports (all 4) near the bed were broken. not one would accept a phone charger. THe bathroom was nice enough and was very clean. good water pressure The bed was very comfortable. THe TV was large, but apparently they were having cable issues. I was given a TINY little scrap of paper with instructions to turn on the TV. I forgot my magnifying glass but eventually we figured it out. NO channel guide was available. THe AC worked well and was quiet. initially there was a fair amount of airplane noise, but only one took off during the night so it wasn't all that bad. If it had been really busy It might have been a problem There is really nothing nearby except the airport and FBI headquarters next door. We had to drive quite some miles to find any real restaurant. Overall there was not one thing that was really that bad, but compared to the previous 2 nights at other Holiday Inn Express hotels in the general area I was missing the experience of those hotel.

  Wonderful and Accomodating

  Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express after an unfortunate experience at another hotel and could not be happier. The check in was pleasant and the staff were friendly. We were upgraded after we were sent to a room already occupied, or not ready for the next guest. The following day, the bill was reduced by 25 dollars for that small inconvience,, which was an unexpected surprise as we were not expecting that or the upgrade at all. They want the business and work to make guests happy. Will make the Holiday Inn my go to place while traveling from PDX. Great job.
