  Best business hotel experience

  This is the pinnacle of what a business hotel can be. It was better in every way than my expectations. The hotel staff is uniformly excellent, friendly, and helpful. The gym and self-service laundry were clean and well-kept (they can provide detergent at the front desk). The included breakfast was particularly generous, much to my surprise. I will note that we were here on a weekend, so it's possible the spread was better than usual (didn't ask about it). Ours had breakfast sausage, bacon, biscuits/gravy, two types of egg omelettes, that pancake machine thingy, GOOD yogurt, 3 kinds of fresh fruit, hot cinnamon buns, fresh pastry selection, cooked oatmeal, and a selection of instant oatmeal/grits/cereals for those who wanted. It was the best breakfast spread I've seen short of a hotel with an actual breakfast buffet. We were at one end of the hotel, and the wifi was consistently strong (good enough for video even). I didn't have trouble connecting from the lobby areas, either. They didn't advertise it, but the hotel has a shuttle on weekends that can drive guests to nearby locations and pick up as well. We took advantage of it several times, in order not to worry about finding parking in the town square area. Several other guests we saw also took advantage of the shuttle in order to bar hop. Beds were soft and comfy, linens were generously provided. I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Oxford area.

  Enjoyed our stay in Oxford

  This is a very busy city due to the small town located in a university city. The motel was one of our favorite Express. Good service, reasonable prices and a great breakfast. Location was out of town so it was not so busy .

  Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms

  We enjoyed one night here. Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding with all kinds of food choices. The evening we arrived there were cookies and hot coffee waiting for us. We were helped by friendly and professional staff.

  Hairs in shower/tub

  Upon arrival at twenty past hour no one at desk, so I began to call out hello frequently. Finally a voice from the back office saying my assistant will be right with you. Finally the manager came out and I was checked in at forty mins past! However she could not get registration sheet to print out and finally just gave me the key. She did not have a mask on, as required by their signage (I did). No coffee in room just tea. Housekeeping & maintenance no masks. On the next morning I found multiple hairs in the shower/tub indicating it had not been cleaned, so I never used; I reported this to clerk at checkout and he said, thank you, Ill look into it.

  Great stay

  A really COVID-19 safe experience. Staff were friendly and the rooms were large. East to get into Oxford centre via park and ride or £17 fixed price for a minibus taxi. The hotel felt clean and bright throughout and the beds super comfy. Breakfasts were made up of individual packaged items but there was a lot of variety available including sausage baps! You can even get a grab-and-go bag which can be used as a packed lunch should you wish. We will stay here again!
