  Great stay, taking COVID precautions

  This is our second time staying at this property on our way home from a road trip. We had a great experience last summer and we decided to try it again. I was very impressed with how seriously they are taking precautions due to the pandemic. When you come to check-in, the front desk associated is wearing a mask. Trust me, this is not happening everywhere as we saw on our trip, so this was a pleasant greeting. They also have a table for you to stand at that is 6+ feet back from them at their desk. You can just hold up your ID to show them from a distance, and the card reader machine for your credit card is on your table. No interaction is needed at all. The room smelled and looked clean. For my own peace of mind, I like wiping down all high-touch surfaces upon entering, and not a speck of dirt came off any of them. They also honored our request for a first floor room (didn't want to use the elevator). Even being on the first floor, it was super quiet and the room was very spacious. I would definitely recommend this property especially during this time, as they are taking several precautions, including resting rooms between guests.

  Clean modern design meets sensible function

  Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lincoln I-80 hits it out of the park on so many levels. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and I find that I get frustrated by places that sacrifice function for something that management thinks looks stylish. The clean and fresh styling of this property is married with highly functional amenities. For example, there is a lower shelf in the night stand that helps to keep the top shelf clear. There is a small shelf just inside the door that is a perfect place for keys, wallet or purse. The bathroom sink is just the right size and placement so that my nearsighted eyes can clearly see the mirror when I shave. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker are all located together in a mini kitchen area that is between bedroom and bathroom. Places to hang stuff are plentiful. The desk area has an awesome task light and is highly functional. Plenty of electrical outlets. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Breakfast area did what they could durning COVID protocols. Staff and guests acted appropriately during pandemic. Everyone was masked and compliant with cleaning protocols. There are few places that I would recommend this highly. Just loved it. I could live here.

  Good overnight stay enroute home

  My husband and I had a good one-night stay here while enroute home to northern Illinois after a vacation in Colorado. I had done considerable research on COVID-19 precautions hotels were taking. I was impressed with what I learned about this hotel, and it did not disappoint. They were able to honor our request for a room that had been vacant for at least 24 hours. The property looked fairly new. The room was very clean and comfortable. Masks were required in public spaces (although compliance was mixed), and there were social distancing reminders posted. Every staff we interacted with was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Unlike many other hotels I researched, this one offered an actual hot breakfast. It was served made-to-order from a station at one side of the dining area. Tables were spaced to allow for adequate distancing. Also, the hotel was a short drive away from several restaurants that offered carry-out service, so we were able to have supper in our room. Id recommend this hotel.

  very nice hotel. clean and comfortable. hot breakfast was a nice surprise. also could make up your own to go bag if necessary with many items to choose from. would highly recommend and would stay here again.

  Full Breakfast A Plus

  Surprised to find a full hotel on a rainy night but we were pleased with our stay. The property was fairly new and clean. It is also located convenient to I-80 on the East side of Lincoln. I was delighted to get a full breakfast served in the morning because most hotels have either eliminated or are just doing a to go breakfast. The food and service was superb. I would stay here again.
