  Reassured by my recent stay

  I've been traveling on business for over thirty years, but haven't stayed at a hotel since February of this year. My golf buddy and I based at this hotel for three nights this week and played area courses. I was apprehensive about the safely of hotels these days, but the stay at this well-run hotel alleviated all my fears. From check in to check out, I never felt anything but welcomed and safe. The place is spotless and although the rooms are understandably lacking some amenities, and housekeeping is only done for a five plus night stay, the maids on the floor were quick to comply with every request, and the front desk had anything needed. Breakfast was "grab-and-go", but good quality and variety, and the coffee was a pleasant surprise. Most of all, I appreciated the hospitality and lack of edge that one finds in so many businesses these days in view of the pandemic. The GM never walked through the lobby without a friendly greeting, and a "good morning gentlemen". Hospitality is what it's all about and these people got it right.

  Super clean

  Stayed here on mini road trip - beyond clean. Unbelievably clean. Excellent check In and great Covid policies. Lame grab and go breakfast but great beds rooms shower. Pool obviously closed but great stay and great value.

  Super clean

  Only one bad thing to say. Pool was cold. But other then that, the hotel was spotless. Hard working housekeeping. Friendly staff. Quiet at night. Lots of stores nearby. Great Mexican restaurant nearby called Casa Villa. Will stay again in the future.

  Excellent stay

  In these times it is so reassuring to know and feel that the place we are staying takes every precaution to keep us safe, while at the same time making our stay pleasant. Kudos to the staff that work so hard to make this happen. The room was spotless and the breakfast was plentiful, with all the precautions we need to take. We could have it outside or even inside, we were not confined to our room, but that's where the microwave is (btw, microwave and fridge in the room, that's a great perk). This hotel is very centrally located to a lot of various places we wanted to visit during our " foliage trip". It's within a few miles from the beginning of the Catskills scenic drive route 28, as well as the towns of Kingston and Saugerties.

  Clean place, friendly staff, BUT terrible bed

  I recently stayed at this hotel for four nights. I did feel that precautions were taken and I felt clean and safe. However, it was the WORST bed I have ever had to sleep on in a hotel. Also, because of the pandemic, there was no service to the rooms at all. If you wanted clean towels, a fresh trash bag, more coffee, or anything at all, you had to ask for it. Shouldn't they have taken the price down?
