    Holiday Inn is slipping terribly!

    With requesting a high floor away from an elevator, (room 404) we should have been able to sleep peacefully and not be kept awake by neighboring visitors. I called the front desk multiple times about the obnoxious party next door and nothing was done to help. We were kept awake until 2 am sadly. Upon leaving, we were not offered any compensation, no apology was made, not even a thank you. I had to insist that I get my receipt for purchases made on my credit card. The hotel staff is far from welcoming and did not seem friendly. The roll out bed from the couch was horrible. There were no pillows or blankets for the person using this to sleep on. I travel a lot with a corporate account and I can assure you I will not be staying at this hotel anymore. Customer satisfaction is clearly not a priority here.

    The worst location I've ever been

    I've spent 3 nights in that hotel during December. I chose it, because it is close to the Data Center where I had to go. Generally I stay at Meadowland, but all hotels there were fully booked. So I chose Holiday in. Unfortunately it was a huge mistake. When I arrived, my room was dirty: the bed sheet, the floor, hair in the bathroom floor and the bath. The room was on the third floor, and because it's a freeway in front of the hotel, the room was extremely noisy. You can't go out or go into the hotel by foot, no bus, and even no pavement to walk to anywhere. You need car to go out/in the the hotel. The only positive was the staff. They tried to save the dirty room situation and they helped me in any way they can. I'm really sorry for them that they need to work in such a place. I definitely never go back. On Meadowlands you can find much better hotel, on the same price.

    Not the best

    We got this for free on points and im glad we did to be honest, its about 4 miles from hoboken and so dont get tricked thinking youll see any of new york - you wont. Its nothing like what we expected location wise but wasnt too difficult to get to once we knew how. The staff and service was great but our room wasnt serviced at all when we stayed and our toilet was blocked when we arrived. If youre coming to new york, dont come to this hotel. Very disappointed but luckily we didnt let it ruin our trip.

    The hotel is very neatspacious rooms with comfortable size beds. Their breakfast is rich and nice. The internet speed is excellent. However, you need to arrange for your other meals that is launch and dinner as no restaurant in the hotel. conclusively the services are excellent!
