    Awful beds

    The room assigned to us on the 3rd floor had a bed missing the foot on a leg...no sleeping on that unlevel bed for us. Staff moved us to a handicap room on the 1st floor...one of the beds was squeaky with every movement. We have stayed in Much cheaper hotels in Baytown with better beds. Disappointed.

    They were there for a last minute stay and it was great

    The front desk clerk was really friendly, and check in was a breeze, I had booked the room right before we had stopped for dinner before checking in. I live in town and my AC unit had decided to freeze up, so instead of dealing with it that night, since the rest of the family were there that night, I got a room. The room was really nice, the bathroom was probably the biggest I've encountered in a long time without spending $300 for a night. My only qualm was with housekeeping, and I had noticed that the comforter should have been replaced a while ago, so much so that it didn't seem to match how well the rest of the room was. The towels were great and I didn't notice anything like dust or hair, and I am that person who checks for everything when I get in the room, including pulling the sheets all the way back. I had contemplated staying an extra night, just to not have to deal with my AC repair that day. The housekeeper did bang on the door almost an hour before checkout, which did just add to my frustration with housekeeping in general, otherwise, I will recommend this site to anyone in town to visit if they need a place. The desk clerks, both morning and evening and the lady serving breakfast were awesome.

    Not a Good Stay

    We checked in after a long travel day and had a friendly welcome. Got to the room and unpacked. We noticed water on the bathroom floor. With every toilet flush there was more water. Tried to call the front desk but the phone didnt work. My husband went down to the desk and the desk clerk apologized and gave us a new room. Moved across the hall. Bedside lamp wouldnt turn on. This morning this toilet was also leaking, toilet paper holder fell off and faucet was spotted with soap or toothpaste showing it had not been cleaned. Not up to HIG standards.

    Bad customer service; less than bare minimum of amenities

    The worst hotel Ive been to yet. My family and I checked no problem HOWEVER, when we got to the room we had an iron but no ironing board. Our remote didnt work, replacement remote either. No breakfast.

    Needs Massive Improvement

    Needless to say, the stay was memorable only because it was less than what it should have been. I have attached pictures of our room, I would of checked out but was not wanting my rate returned as points so we tried to make the best of a bad situation. This hotel stay has led my husband and myself to consider utilizing other hotel brands in the future. One other gripe besides the condition of the room is that there was no signage in the hotel lobby or in the elevator concerning the breakfast that is normally part of the hotel rate. I needed to extend the hotel stay by one night and that is when I saw the information about the breakfast. It is only published on the website so we were 7 days into the stay before I saw the information. I went next door to the Circle K to purchase breakfast items and coffee since this was also not offered. We had to request our room be cleaned after day two and was told that if they had someone available they would try and do it but they were only taking care of checkout rooms. Our room was cleaned maybe three times during our stay and it was odd that we started out with four towels and then it went down to three and then eventually down to one. Good thing my husband didn't shower before we left to come home. Waited about 5 minutes at check in along with another guest who was wanting something from the snack area because the desk clerk was unavailable. One morning we saw the desk clerk leave to go next door to get a donut, there was no coverage at the desk. I worked for a franchise Holiday Inn for 15 years and I know somewhat of the rules that need to be followed, this hotel failed miserably.
